Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

One elevator was inoperable due to waiting on the city inspector to come out (they had been waiting almost 2 weeks for someone) so the wait was usually between 10-20 minutes if you wanted an elevator. We were on the 6th floor and I was too out of shape to be doing all those stairs multiple times a day. Lol THIS WAS NOT A HOTEL ISSUE BUT A CITY ISSUE!
The room was clean and exactly how described. Staff greeted us with a smile and were able to accommodate our super early arrival (arrived at 730am and 1130am check-in!). We had a small issue with the TV not working in our living room area but they sent someone up who checked it out and replaced it within a half hour. The pool and hot tub were nice and the game room/workout area/lounge area were a really awesome surprise! Parking was adequate and we were fairly close to the sports complex. Perk was finding out we could enter the lounge area from the 3rd floor so we only had three flights of stairs to navigate to our floor (6th). Good value for the money!

There was only one working elevator which caused long wait times or having to walk up lots of stairs. The room couldve been just a tad bit cleaner but overall a good experience
Location was awesome. Within walking distance to so many things. The size of the room was nice and bed was comfortable. Romas pizza being right downstairs was great for ordering food late and not needing to leave your room. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

It would have been nice to have maid service come to clean our room while we were away for the day. This one is small, but would have helped a lot; the clothing iron got hot, but the steam was not functioning, so I wasn't able to get a good ironing on my clothes.
I didn't know that breakfast was available. If the reception desk would have given that information at check-in, we definitely would have utilized it. It was nice to have a mni kitchen in the room, I made breakfast and a late lunch during our stay.

The only had one operating elevator. The other one was out of service. And the working one moved slow. Some of the equipment in the gym was not working. The drains in the bathtub were rusted and broke. The pull out bed was dirty. It was filled with crumbs and old food. The windows didn't open nor was it a balcony but it was ok.
The location was nice. Plenty of restaurants close by. Walking distance. It had a restaurant attached to the lobby. Less than a mile away from the beach. There was attractions close by 5-10 minutes driving. Friendly staff. The set up of the room was very nice. Clean appliances.

The on site manager was so negative and rude to her staff in front of us and other guests. The thermostat in our room didn't work and only 1 of the 2 elevators worked so getting anywhere from our top floor room took forever.

The fact that one elevator was only working, and I never received maintenance for the bathroom sink, called 3x, and spoke with someone at the front desk. 😳

The ac is in a closet in the kitchen, and is extremly noisy, in a way that continously wakes you during the night. We visited in winter, to see the whales, so, was not possible to sleep without heating. In addition, the thermostat might be located in a weird place, turning on when the room is to cold. As such, you end up waking up because your are too cold or too hot. In summary, room was great, but was hard to rest well at night. Also, one elevator is broken (reading reviews, sinco long ago!). Sometimes you need to wait long. We end up parking in third floor and using stairs
The resort is fair for the value. The room is ample, comfortable, and clean.

Second Elevator out of service, being replaced. Long wait to ride so took the stairs 7 flights good cardio workout, but three times a day got old. Foldout couch was not fit for sleeping, had to purchase an additional room. King beds were fine. Walk-in rental price was $30 less. Had to switch a room upon arrival broken shower with mold.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Beach is right across the street. Got 2 rooms with balconies, one with ocean view. Jacuzzi repaired on last night.
