Was supposed to be a green hotel but there were so many disposable coffee pods. Front staff was oddly unhelpful in the pouring rain while I was trying to load the car.

The size of the beds and the "paper walls". You could hear absolutely everything from the other room and the corridor. Plus from outside.

The hotel was really nice, clean, with great amenities. We had a sea view and it was nice but there were many homeless people in front of the hotel screaming all the night. The room was cozy, but the queen bed was too small for 2 people sharing one bed. Santa Monica Pier is 5 minutes walking and you can find really good mexican restaurants on the street. But between the hotel and the beach there are 2 motorways.

Location very near Santa Monica Pier. Very nice and competent personnel. No noise from Ocean Avenue (but our room was not in front of the avenue).

The price vs the size of the room was questionable for sure. Also the fact that if you choose to sit on your balcony at night, you subject yourself to being pointed at by the people who clearly occupy the street below. You can see them making drug deals across the street and they very obviously didn't like that; nor did we. Not really the hotel's fault but definitely part of the experience, which makes the over $500/night seem ludicrous.

The location and cleanliness were the best parts about this hotel.

No pool Our balcony was tiny and in a weird corner You can save $10 a day by declining housekeeping which was great and they said you can replenish towels if you opt for this- I asked three times and all they did was bring MORE towels not take used which was silly

Room was a decent size and comfortable, given the location the balcony with a sea view was worth the extra.

We like to sit on the balcony and have a lazy morning with ‘normal coffee’ but you only get a couple of nespresso pods which make very small coffees. No bar at the hotel to relax and unwind and a lot of bars and restaurants in and around the are shut early.

Great location and great room. We were welcomed with complimentary soft drinks and snacks and a personalised welcome card such a nice touch.

It would have been nice to have a small breakfast bar. But that wasn't a deal breaker since they offer two variations of discounts elsewhere.

The location was absolutely wonderful. Everything that you needed was in walking distance. All of the staff was wonderdul, but Joy stood out the most for me. She was very informative and she made all the reservations for our tour. But the location and convenience made the cost of this hotel well worth it. I would definitely stay here again.
