It is a NO smoking facility and apparently some people do not realize that means drugs as well. Could not communicate with house keeping because they did not speak or understand english.

Room 606 ocean view. The large spa tub was difficult for my older parents to use. The ONLY down side was not being able to keep the slider open to the ocean because of people on the balcony smoking week. It was horrible.

Not enough hot water, I couldn't take a relaxing bath nor take a complete hot shower when the water got cold. Also, there's a bar/restaurant located below and their music was excessively loud.

The hotel is showing some wear and tear, this could have been partly because we visited during shoulder season before annual maintenance had been done. Only one elevator was working which made for some long waits and crowded rides to the top floor.

Staff were attentive upon our arrival despite it being a busy day with many comings and goings. Our room, a top-floor suite was very spacious and quiet. Our semi-private balcony facing north offered views of the city and beach. The location is great, very easy walk down the boardwalk to reach the main part of downtown.

I like the location. I also like our room because it was facing the ocean. I love most that they allow pets. We have service and it just easier process if the hotel allow pets to start with.

Our first room had sprung a water leak in the hallway ceiling where the AC was, so we moved to another room around 12 in the morning. Had to tell them about the tub not draining, and I didn't seem to have hot water while showering. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan. The hotel needs some updating.

I like that it was right on the boardwalk/beach, and we had some stores below us. The room we were moved to had a more updated thermostat, and the heat pumped out nicely. I like that when we had an issue with the room, the staff helped us immediately. And I like the separated balconies since I have a dog with us.

The parking. There was one elevator. My room service phone didn’t work. There was a reported fire in one of the units. Fire & police showed up. Oh the only ice machines were on 2 different floors. There’s, I think 7 floors??

The rooms are a little outdated. I had 2 rooms with 2 double/queen beds each, a sofa bed in each with a long dresser and a very small table for 2. The closet was large enough, but no doors on it and only 4 hangers. There was a compact refrigerator/freezer and a small coffee maker, but 1 of my rooms didn't have coffee cups or plastic cups. The water pressure in the showers was very low and in 1 of the bathrooms the toilet paper kept falling off the broken holder.

I absolutely love that the hotel is dog friendly! I booked 2 ocean front rooms for my daughter's birthday for 2 nights. The location is ideal - right on the boardwalk with a lot of activity during the day but not right in the mix of the nightlife. The rooms are very spacious with the wifi being adequate enough for me to even connect on my work laptop to get some work done. The beds were super comfortable.

The following are not complaints, simply facts: the balcony door did not lock, the phone did not work, there was a water leak that left a puddle on the floor, shower temp was impossible to control.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great - right in the thick of things on the boardwalk.

The hotel is clean enough, no bugs or anything, but the whole building needs updated and a good deep cleaning done. Also we didn't realize until we checked in that the balcony has no wall to give you privacy which we didn't like. I wasn't comfortable coming out on the balcony in my skimpy robe in the morning to watch the sunrise with the neighbor sitting just feet away. But for the price we paid it could have been much worse.

The location was perfect. Great view of the ocean from our balcony and right in the middle of the boardwalk. The staff was great too, very helpful and happy.

We love this property, stay here every year with our dog. Staff is friendly and accommodating! We had a beautiful ocean front room for a great deal and will for sure be back again next year!

It’s a pet friendly hotel. Needs an area we’re you can take the dogs out. We stayed 5 days and we had 2 labs with us. We asked that housekeeping did not come in daily due to the dogs being in the room. I feel that it would be nice to have a extra set of linens in the room and a broom and dustpan if you are bringing a pet so you can clean up yourself. Drapes need replaced they are very old and not on the rod completely. I feel with what you pay it could be updated some. I do understand with it being pet friendly it’s hard to keep up with, but still needs fixed up. Staff was very friendly. Room was also clean when we arrived.

Bathroom sink was clogged & small refrigerator wasn't working had to get maintenance day 1. They did fix it right away. Carpet on balcony is old & should be removed. Sliding glass door needs replaced only locks by the bar not the handle like it should. Somethings could be updated.

Location was great 9th street on boardwalk, walking distance to a lot of restaurants, beach, liquor store beside hotel.
