The room was run down and here is no parking available other than 3 hour street parking or $45 valet.

The location was close to main beach which is what we needed.

It feels like a motel in these rooms NOT a hotel, the bathroom is extremely tiny, there are a LOT of stairs to get to lobby/pool/beach- there’s no modern updates to this property. The parking is not included in the ‘resort fee’ and this is NOT a resort. So it’s grossly overpriced for the quality.

The location of the oceanfront views can NOT be beat. The hotel itself is extremely walkable assuming you are in good shape.

Bathrooms terrible, very small like closets. Hotel very dated with nails from room below, sticking up on floor. Back room smelled moldy and AC made noise. No privacy on balcony.

Location right on beach. Front room very spacious. Check in lady -Dutch-was very friendly. Valet was nice but expensive. Restaurant on site right on beach. Inter-leading rooms a bonus.

Only two burners worked on the stove top. But, we managed. There is no heat source in the room. A great deal of mold/mildew behind the toilet. Modernization is in order for $300/night & up rooms.

The view was amazing...next time we'll try the Surf bldg...closer to the beach. Our room was clean, and having the kitchen was great. I found the hotel to be very quiet & peaceful. The sound of the waves and sunsets were amazing as well.

The place was not the nicest but it was a place to sleep. The beds were small even though they had said they were Queen sized. The room was decently clean.

The lady at the front desk is rude and always made myself and my friends uncomfortable with her micro-aggressive behavior. She would make me feel as if I was stupid for any question I had.

I thought it ridiculous to charge someone $45/day for parking. Also, the room was cold…..it took three request to get a small heater for the room. The bathrooms are small and difficult to place anything on the counter during your stay.

The building is so worn down and basic, inside and out. If it weren’t for the crashing waves and amazing view, you could be at some motel off the I-5 corridor. Every piece of furniture and fixture is cheap and worn. It’s so bad that I didn’t want to be in the room or even on the balcony. There is a window that is not well placed for privacy, so they painted it white. Now it’s chipping. It’s like people who don’t know how a hotel should be were put in charge of renovating an old beach motel with a small budget at Home Depot and Amazon. There are definitely better places to stay in Laguna.

The location in the center of LB and right on the water is terrific. That is what you are paying for.

Room needs an update, a bit drab. There is old carpet, a little musty feeling.

Great location and nice beach access. The staff was wonderful and helped in every way. Bed was comfortable.

We rented a suite and it was kinda dirty ,No pictures on the wall, old ugly dining table in the suite, and a mouse made itself seen! They moved us immediately but didn’t have a suite with a kitchen, so we got two adjacent rooms and higher up so it was a nicer view. Not on the beach- across the street and in an alley which was sort of noisy. It was still fun being right in town and having beach access. Would stay again. Expensive for what we had. But worth the location!

Loved the Laguna beach access and the proximity to the Laguna Beach shopping and restaurants.
