We’ve stayed here 3 times and have always been very happy with it. While we still love the rooms, we found that overall, the place is in need of some maintenance upkeep and some areas looked pretty dirty…the elevators, the exterior corridors, the garage area, the painted wood. In our room, the bathroom counter and bathroom area is getting a little worn.

We love the location of Hotel Pacific. Mostly we LOVE the comfortable rooms with sofa, fireplace and kitchenette. The grounds landscaping is lovely. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The breakfast is very good and the breakfast area is nice.

Facilities and rooms need updating. Cobblestone walkways are quaint but very loud anytime someone rolls their bag or cart.

The housekeeping service was not daily vs the cost of the room at $250 a night with parking. The hotel service should offer a discount for not having daily room cleaning.

Location was within 5 minute walk from the Fisherman's Wharf.

There was a leak in the hallway and rain water was everywhere. The water broke the elevator and my husband and daughter couldn’t get out when it stopped in between floors. Kind of scary.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to downtown and the wharf.

Water leaks in multiple areas around the parking area. No bathrobes as promised. No employee spinning an arrow shaped sign pointing to the outdoor access continental breakfast(raining.)

The room is large and comfortable.I Ioved having a sitting area and unlike some hotels, your bed isn't right next to window that people walk by so it's very quiet and feels safe. The location is such a short walk to the old fisherman's wharf and downtown.

The sofa bed was not comfortable You could feel the springs I’m not sure if the room I chose was the one they gave me. I paid a little more for a better location but the room was farther from the lobby and breakfast area.

Facility dated and worn. From need for repairs, caulking, paint touch ups to worn, stained furniture to non-functioning equipment (TV not working even after repairman worked on it), it gave the impression of neglect.

The building is old and we could hear the floor above which at times was very loud footsteps.

Only complaint... it rained all night and there was a 4 inch puddle of water in the entire hallway in the morning. (Room 327) Water leaked into the room as well. Used towels to absorb some of the water.. Had to use luggage cart to get luggage out of the room without getting wet. Our feet and shoes were soaked...

The parking was $22 a day and you weren’t guaranteed a parking spot. If you got there and the small parking garage was full, you still had to park in the street. The water temperature was hit or miss. One day it was hot and the other it was lukewarm.

The location was great. It was walking distance to fisherman’s warf and Alvarado street which had a lot of good restaurants, bakeries and shopping.

We absolutely hate that every time we've stayed the same front desk guy is just standing smack dab in the middle of the underground parking just smoking away his nasty cigarettes, polluting the air in the ENTIRE garage. There is literally no way to escape the stench. Almost threw me into an asthma attack for which I had to use my inhaler. We also very much didn't care for the rude couple at the hot tub either. It would be great if we were able to book just a 15 minute time slot to actually relax without having to be subjected to overly aggressive displays of affection from a homosexual couple literally feet from us. I'm assuming they wanted us to leave, so we did after just 10 minutes because we were so uncomfortable. The hot tub was the main reason for my stay since I have a bad back and the beds aren't that great.

We love the room, style/decor and location as well as the breakfast.
