At 6 AM, that was usually a loud delivery truck parked beneath our window that woke me up.

I loved that when I got to my room I felt like I was already inside a building. It was lots of counterspace. There was a fridge on microwave and a TV with many different channels. The ocean view was amazing. The pillows were soft. We were within walking distance of the beach and many shops restaurant and farmers market on Wednesdays from 2 to 6 PM as well as a coffee shop. That was really excellent! I also loved walking over the hill to see the other Large Long Beach. Rockaway Beach was amazing.

We paid extra for an ocean view room. However, I would say it was more like a partial view because the buildings in front covered the view( we were next to the elevator). Also, the room and elevator could use more dusting and detail cleaning.

Mattress and pillows past their life cycle.

Ariel was extremely helpful in rearranging my suite assignment to ensure I had WiFi and a comfortable room. She was genuinely courteous and customer service driven. Deep was professional, friendly and prompt with his follow up on the TV issue. Great staff.

Dirty stain towels and being woke up by pans being dropped restaurant behind hotel washing baking pans in the parking lot at 7:00 in the morning

Area is pretty dark at night and has an uneasy feeling when walking to and from your vehicle. If you don't like the sound of loud waves it's probably not the one for you since it's about a few feet from the Ocean.

Staff was wonderful and very attentive. Room was really great especially with the ocean view!

Room 204 has a leak in bathroom. Flooring came up with shoes. Price was okay but a bit high for this room

Elevator out. We didn't go to the nearby music and dancing on Friday night because the stairs are too difficult for me. I don't think parking should cost extra when staying at the motel/hotel.

The staff at check-in was very friendly. We had selected a room with an ocean view, and they are on the second floor, but their elevator was out. They offered to put us on the first floor and refund the extra we paid for the view, but then found there was no availability on the first floor. They were very kind and apologetic. They called us about 20 minutes after we got to our room to say there was an open room on the first floor, but we had already unpacked everything. The 'view' was visible if you stand at the window and look over the top of Nick's Restaurant (which is fabulous, by the way). But the sound of the waves coming in (because we opened the window) at night was lovely. Oh, there is a $10 per day charge for parking in the hotel lot if you don't want to park on the street.

The office person was friendly and upbeat. Power was out due to a storm, so I needed a place to work remotely. The internet worked and location was convenient

I used to be housekeeper so maybe I notice way more than the average person but my room was not very clean even after I had it serviced. I stayed here for a month and only had it serviced twice (my choice) so I assumed when I wanted it done it would be done well. When my room was restocked I didn’t get any TP even when I wrote it down on a note. Pillows were left on the ground instead of fully remaking my beds. For the rate people have to pay to stay here I would recommend having a HKM check rooms after they’re serviced. Also I understand that this is out of everyone’s control but there are people around here who have been screaming at each other in arguments outside at like 2am. A small discount also wouldn’t hurt for someone who needs a monthly stay.

I usually stay here for weekend getaways but this time I stayed for a month to start my new job. Location is great for me, nice updated rooms and the girl at the front desk who works nights is super nice!

Our "ocean view" room looked at the back side of Nick's. But we could see the ocean out one window.
