I would have preferred a ground floor room because I was traveling with my 92 year old father, husband and a dog, for me to have to climb the stairs at 68 years old and my husband was 70 years old, climbing these stairs with luggages and a dog was not good. I had to take him out for bathroom breaks and going up and down those stairs at our age. My 92 year old father had to take the ground floor level for his age.

It is very nice area and close to the beach. The hotel was a very cute cottages and clean. There were deer out front. A lot of good site seeing around the area and great restaurants. I would stay here again.

It’s an older motel-style property, but it has been renovated, upgraded and modernized and is clean and comfortable and well-appointed, with attractive landscaped grounds.

Very good location in Pacific Grove, close to the beach. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, light breakfast included.

The one and only thing I did not like, or I should say, I would recommend they fix is the little couch in the living area was not very comfortable. Other than that it was amazing.

First time staying at this property was recommended by a close friend and I have to say I was very impressed. It was very well taken care of great location and the staff was excellent.

It was half price of other places and it was nice. Have stayed in a more expensive place in Pacific Grove and this was better. Do not expect a fancy hotel, but it was clean, had a terrasse, good bed, coffee machine, fridge, and shower. Worth every penny. Thank you.

The property is well located for a first night stay on the Pacific Highway route from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The cottages are close to the sea which allowed a pleasant walk.

Parking wasn't assigned, and the closest spots were taken (or were designated for electric recharge, but noticed cars parked there, and I would have too but my car isn't electric so honored that).

I didn't have a lot of expectations for Continental breakfast but was pleasantly surprised to find hard boiled eggs and there was ample variety of fruit (though the bananas weren't ripe, and some of the oranges, apples,pears were bruised). Didn't touch the sweet muffins or cereal, as I brought my own top quality, and own yogurt. Staff was nice, room was very comfortable, spacious and lots of lights, comfy bed. And loved closeby, easy access to the coastal trail.

Great location. 5 minute walk to the water. Could hear the ocean from the room. Light breakfast offered, friendly staff, peaceful surroundings.

I booked for 5 people but only 2 queen beds provided. We had to pay extra for a spare bed, although it was only $30 for 2 nights. The living area is pretty useless, tiny table and tiny couch not good for much.

Location was great, just a block from the ocean and 10 minute walk to monarch butterfly sanctuary. Having a fireplace was nice.

Sparse amenities in the kitchen and would have been good if the refrigerator was colder.

My main reason staying here was it is dog friendly. I was pleasantly surprised at how cute it was. Our room was perfect and we could see the ocean from our patio. It was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The grounds are very cute and cottage like with a nice outdoor fire pit to sit at. Very close to the beach and a boardwalk path to walk along.
