Condo is extremely outdated. Drawers and cabinets get stuck. The A/c DOES NOT cool the upstairs bedrooms. The pullout couch is about 20 years old and is extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. It’s just old and could use some heavy updates. Definitely not worth the price per night they’re charging for this unit.

Good very difficult to get in and out of the room the combination lock gave us a very hard time. It took us many times to get in the room every time and the elevator near our room did not work and on checkout day the next elevator got me stuck between the second and third floor, it scared me

Our apartment is in desperate need of new outdoor furniture for the deck. More bath towels would be nice as well. Although the pools were nice there were no restrooms so you had to go all the way back to your room when someone had to pee. The biggest issue was the elevator closest to our unit was out of order for the majority of our stay and when it was finally “fixed” on the last day my husband and I got stuck inside it.

Beautiful, safe, area with nice pools. It is right on the beach, as well as close to stores and restaurants. Great views of the sunrise AND sunset! Beach was nice to walk and ride bikes. The property is slightly dated, as other reviews have mentioned….HOWEVER, we LOVED IT! We will book it again. It was a great price for all it offered; well decorated, spacious, comfortable and clean. There were plenty of soaps, shampoos, towels, pillows, and blankets. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cookware, and cleaning supplies. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, as well. Again, we greatly enjoyed it and appreciated the booking. *note of caution- the bed frames are just like ours at home- easy to stub your toes on them- 😆 In all seriousness, this place was great!

The unit was very dated. The microwave was rusted out on the bottom and needs to be replaced! The paint was peeling off the kitchen cabinets and drawers. The refrigerator was rusting on the bottom and on the door. The exterior needed to be cleaned as well. The glassware was on dirty paper towels placed in kitchen cabinet. The wallpaper in the bathrooms was torn and bathrooms had holes that were patched yet not finished. Bath towels were very old, greying, rough and they need to be replaced. Elevator in building was broken the entire stay. We were given no warning and eventually sought out another elevator in main building to get our luggage to 5th floor. We did alert rental company and they responded the next morning telling us of the other elevator. We just carried our belongings for the 1st night up the 10 flights of stairs. Very inconvenient and little to no communication. The ac unit only cooled the 1st floor of the 2 story condo. The upper floor where bedrooms are located was very uncomfortable for sleeping. The master bedroom was unbearably hot and we had to bunk together in other bedroom. There was nothing to be done, however, Vacasa staff offered to bring us a fan. We declined as it would just blow hot air around. The bed in master bedroom was so hard that even if the ac was working in that room, you could not sleep on bed. Never encountered such a horrible mattress as this one. The patio chair backs were broken so it was uncomfortable to sit in them. The master bath cabinet was held together by tape. Overall, just sub par and dirty. I would not recommend a stay or ever go back myself. I have yet to hear back from an owner with any of the issues nor offered any help except for a fan.

Proximity to beach was awesome. Pool was clean and pool chairs were nice. Very nice view of beach from living room The ac unit worked properly on the first floor. TV's worked properly.

We Love the Pelican! It is the most comfortable and clean property - located in the perfect spot in New Smyrna.... and Glenn- our host was kind enough to get us! We really enjoyed our stay and I LOVE LOVE the pool area!!!
