With arthritis it’s touch to go up stairs much less with luggage, but the staff was nice enough to carry my bags up and down the stairs.

The inn itself is quaint and beautiful. The location is perfect: a block from the ocean and walking distance from the ferry, shops, and restaurants. The continental breakfast offered a wide variety of yummy food, the wine and cheese gathering on the porch was fun and entertaining, and the staff is a friendly bunch who go the extra mile to care for their guests-people you’d like to call friends!

The location was great! Close to the main street and restaurants, the ferry terminal and bus stops. The breakfast options were very good. The hotel was clean and quaint. The receptionist, Jill, was extremely helpful and explained the bus routes, so we could check out the island with the limited time we had.

My 17 years old daughter and I had a terrific stay at this hotel: it is sweet and beautiful with a big porch with rocking chairs, and conveniently located close the ocean. The staff is wonderful and makes everyone feeling welcome. They provide the guests with a lot of extras like fresh cookies and hot cider, beach towels and beach chairs and a great and healthy breakfast. All this made our stay very, very special. We hope to come back and definetely recommend it to people who hope to find peace and happiness during their vacation.

No elevator..but knew this at rental no bathroom access on the Breakfast area No room refrigerator, microwave Not a real deal breaker... Difficult for Senior citizens

The Breakfast was light, but tasty. Property was perfectly located to take advantage of everything locally. 3pm Cookies daily and Monday afternoon Wine was a great bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very small but it was clean. Not much room to walk around and there was no where to sit except on the bed to watch TV. The hotel is older and the rooms need to be updated. We were on the third floor and stairway is steep and a little scary.

The staff was very nice. The quaint hotel is on a quiet street but not far from restaurants and shops.

It is impeccably well maintained, the property is so much prettier in person than the pictures. The location was great - 5 minuses from the beach, 5 minutes from shops and restaurants. The staff was genuinely kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

Rooms are small.

Good breakfast. Loved morning mimosas ! Enjoyed afternoon cookies, while relaxing in rocking chairs on the porch and meeting other guests. Books and games are available. It is walking distance to shopping and restaurants of Oak Bluffs.

Hotel has no elevator. We had to carry a heavy suitcase to 3rd floor by ourselves. My husband has hip pain. It caused him lots of pain every time he climbs up the stairs.

The location is super convenient, staff are very warm and friendly, continental breakfast has a many options.

The Pequot was fantastic! The location, staff, breakfast, room, and the rocking chairs on the front porch were all the best!!! Extra kudos to the staff. They were extremely attentive and helpful!!!

Loud and sometimes rowdy young adults staying across the street. One young man came over to the hotel property each night to we were there to sit on the porch and talk on the phone with his girlfriend. A little unnerving.

The property was quaint and modest. There were no fancy amenities but we were perfectly ok with that and the hotel had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, as were the cookies in the afternoon. The hotel was close to shops and restaurants as well as the water. We loved the laid back feel of the hotel. Also a plus was the free and informative walking tour from Tom Dresser. Be sure to check out his books in the lobby!

“Didn’t like” is not exactly correct. My handicapped husband booked at the last minute and the 3rd floor walk up was challenging but not the hotel’s error at all. Any travelers with mobility issues should be aware. I didn’t do the booking, so I have no idea what options there were. I understand there are rooms to accommodate persons with disabilities. We’d still come back even with the walk up.

The breakfast was absolutely above and beyond our expectations for “continental” fare. Chocolate Chip cookies amazing. Mimosas such a delightful touch. Lent me a wine opener. All staff friendly and helpful.

This is a sweet, old fashioned hotel with welcoming staff and cosy rooms. It is in a great location just a few minutes walk to either the beach or the Main Street where the shops and restaurants are. I had a perfect four nights there and would definitely go back!
