United States4 ReviewsExceptionalThis is the only hotel that I've ever booked that didn't have 2 wash cloths in the room as a standard. My reservation was for 2 guests staying in the room so I was confused that we only had 1 wash cloth to start with and only had 1 after housekeeping cleaned the room. The bed could also be a little higher off the ground -- I'm 6' and getting out of the bed felt like I was doing squats first thing in the morning. Not sure if this is because I had a standard king room or not. Also the mattress could be a little firmer. Honestly, these items aren't that bad, considering all of the amenities offered by the hotel.. Still giving this hotel a 5 star review.
Great location. Many restaurants and attractions (shopping, squares, tours) are within walking distance. Car service is very convenient and the drivers are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Hotel and Hotel bar/restaurant staff are very attentive and make you feel at home. The unlimited complimentary champagne is also a nice touch. Rooftop bar and the view are great.

The staff was outstandingly friendly, the property was very nice, comfortable, and the location was perfect for our stay. The hotel did a wonderful job of making our anniversary special by welcoming us with special treats in our room acknowledging our anniversary.

There was a fully stocked bar. The restaurant served delicious food and rooftop bar was perfect with a lovely view.

United States30 Reviews4 helpful votes“Faultless”Valet parking, welcomed with champagne, our suites were large and comfortable, the location was wonderful - surrounded by lovely squares and leafy trees, with coffee shops, restaurants and independent stores, yet just a 5 minute walk to the river. I'm so glad we didn't stay along the river - it's a nice place for a meal and drink, but the Perry Lane is in a fantastic location. Staff are efficient and attentive. Did i mention the free champagne? A lovely touch. Great roof terrance for a snack and a swim. Cannot fault this hotel. We stayed at the Emmeline in Charleston and this was better.
