Not to have a kettle for hot water or coffee. Not to include breakfast or to coffee area in the mornings to buy it. Not to have a fridge.

Pod 51 is located in an strategic area to move around. The room was every day cleaned, the bed was comfortable.

Bedrooms were very small and the stay is relatively expensive, but I guess that is just what you need to expect for NYC.

Rooms including private bathrooms had everything you needed, even extra toilets on the hallway you could make use of. Staff was very friendly and happy to help anytime. Location is great near some sightseeing places and subway stations within 3 minutes walking time.

I did need my ear plugs here. The walls are good, but through the doors I could hear conversations from across the hall. However, this is NYC and I will stay here again.

The location is superb, right on the E line that takes you most places you would want to go. The shared baths are a real plus: the marble walls and cleanliness border on luxury! There was never a capacity issue for the shared baths. Having my own sink in the room made it all easy. The staff was good.

Breakfast wasn't that good and the staff in the common areas were rude.. I witnessed one guest nearly right hook one of them 😂😂

We did not find any drinking fountain/ water dispenser nor vendo machine available in the hotel.

Lifts were really slow , air on very loud, lacks sustainably factor- lots of plastic, zero privacy between bathroom and bed, coffee bar opened only at 7 and closed early,

Location very central, clean rooms, at first sight rooms seem very small but staying there for 7 nights they are actually very workable. Lots of storage , Decent coffee bar

The room was a bit small, but it is somewhat expected considering the price. Everything was perfect besides this.

The location was perfect - easy to get to all the tourist places but quiet. The bed was comfy and the staffs were really nice and friendly.

The tiny shower was very uncomfortable, especially because the light on the wall (placed at shoulder height for some reason) would become so hot that it would hurt me every time I moved

I get that it's Midtown, but for the size of the space it's still quite pricey. Otherwise I don't really have anything negative to say about the property.

Room was very clean and had fresh sheets daily. Shower and bathroom were small but great. The location is awesome, easy to get around to many major attractions.

The room was really tiny. No shelf in the shower , no soap. No room to store suitcases.

The elevators are quite old. Took us 20 minutes to wait for the elevator and go upstairs. Got a private room, they're very small.

Amazing location. Walking distance to central station, central park and metro station. Clean and with all toiletries. Good value for money.

Busy area and noisy at night. A few weirdos loitering around the hotel but I guess this is Manhattan.

Good location not far from Times Square. The rooftop terrasse is a bonus. Shared bathrooms were clean.

The location is perfect! The size of the room is also convinient for a solo traveller (small but OK) and the shared bathrooms are very good and clean.

The cafe downstairs is too small. One customer service person worked so slowly that there was always a slow morning queue when she was on duty. She did a good job but she wasn't used to working quickly/multi-tasking when people needed to get their breakfast and move! Staff behind the main reception counter not effectively communicating important customer messages between shifts.

There was a New York view from the 12th floor window. Comfortable, clean room with adequate storage space and a desk for one person. Friendly, considerate housekeeping staff. Good value Japanese and Thai restaurants nearby.

Plastic cutlery??? C’mon guys - compostable or biodegradable stuff in the breakfast space please!…. No clear recycling bins for guests in the communal area

Brilliant location for exploring Manhattan on foot or metro - seconds away from local cafes and restaurants, bagels and pancakes one street away… Fantastic staff who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful
