Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesFront desk (female) was not friendly nor helpful. Very stoic. Did not like $50 damage deposit. My room had a chair in it that had been chewed in several places. I notified the front desk to ensure that I wasn’t blamed for the damage. What if I hadn’t notified the front desk? What measures are in place (similar to renting a car) to acknowledge damage that “already exists?”. My dog heard someone outside my hotel door at 3am. I was in a room at the very end of the hall… that situation made me a bit anxious.

As someone with sever allergies I was happy I had choices for breakfast. Wish I knew the first day. Allowed pets. Really liked the blanket, it was heavy.

United Stateswhen first walk in the lobby and hallways reeks of weed. our room carpet was wet and sticky in places. not sure where the wetness was coming from. Maybe the fridge leaked. most wetness was in front of fridge and between the beds. but by the bathroom door carpet was sticky like a spill of something sticky. your feet should not be wet and sticky from the carpet. The area around the hotel was sketchy. I was afraid our vehicles may get broken into. I saw the laundry door open so I knocked and and ask for 2 towels. and the lady acted so pissed off and that it killed her to give me two towels. when I went out to my car. I heard her complaining to the front clerk about it. I was very nice and respectful. she apparently really doesn’t like to be bothered. the food was decent. no issues. I would suggest two waffle makers bc very long line waiting for them. our room had a weird sour smell. like dirty feet. I think it was from whatever is leaking in there.
