Prior to our stay the hotel sent an email requesting whether we would like to register for an upgrade to our room . We chose the upgrade to executive room which had robes breakfast and one alcoholic drink included. We understood the condition if available . When we checked in the receptionist knew nothing of the upgrade and it was only when I showed the printed off confirmation of the express upgrade that she then then went to seek advice from the manager. An upgrade was offered but not the one we had requested but the hotel did honour the daily rate shown. I do not see the point of the hotel sending out this express upgrade emails if they don’t follow through with it or even have knowledge of the request .

The hotel was in the centre of bourbon street and was ideal when visiting other attraction

    Parking was pricey.

I LOVE the location!!! Everything was right there or walking distance! Walk out the doors, and you're on Bourbon St. so that was awesome. Our room had a balcony on the side street, which was wonderful because you can sit there and watch the action but also not too noisy to sleep at night. The valet was super friendly and great!! The hotel has entertainment and food, so that was a plus. The parking per day was pricey. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The bedding is very thin. We had to ask for blankets. We were told we could only have 1 because we only had 1 bed. We begged and finally got 2 blankets.

The location was great. The room was clean and the value was in line with what we wanted to spend.

Bathroom had ONE handrail to get into tub but none when you got inside. Need another handrail inside. The tub was slippery & did not make showering a pleasant experience.

Breakfast not available at hotel. There's just coffee & muffins area. Went to Jimmy J's & Sheraton for breakfast. Unfortunately, we arrived early & hotel wouldn't accommodate our early arrival. Made us wait until 4PM. WE ARRIBED AT 9:30AM! We flew in not drove in. All they kept saying was it'll cost you more to "upgade".That meant that there were rooms available. They were just not willing to accommodate us. Very disappointing.

Did not see any spa/services available which I would have so loved. Only wished the Jazz Playhouse would allow music to play a little longer (perhaps til 11pm) as it was such wonderful entertainment and ended a little too early.

Amazing location and surprisingly quiet allowing a great sleep despite all the music and noise from the street. Loved the decor in the foyer and the fragrance of the hotel (very pleasant to the senses). The Jazz Playhouse is fantastic!

The smell was pretty bad there were a significant amount of homeless people surrounding the entrance of the property.

I liked the location more than anything within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter.

4 pm check in is on the late side but don’t ask for early check in or they will literally leave you to be the last to check in I literally sat there for over 4 hours even though I informed the desk that I had current medical issue and really needed to lay down. 3:55 I got my room and the desk did not even call me to say it was ready. I worked at the Carlyle Hotel in NY for years and we would have never treated a guest in such a fashion. I ended up hospitalized for 4 days. While a street side balcony is expected to be noisy on Bourbon St the two inch gap in between the double doors could have easily had a gasket to reduce noise instead of a broken piece of wood molding. If you want to play luxury property then do it well or don’t bother.

Property location is excellent I found most of staff to be courteous and professional as you would expect from a “Luxury” property.

The only thing I was not to please with was the few people that could come in off the street and come inside the Hotel, need to be security at the door, otherwise everything was good. Oh, needed more Blankets on bed the one thin one we had was not enough but we made do.

The first room that was given to us was not ok. It was located in a dark area felt closed off and small. We did go back down to front desk and ask to do a change and room that was nicer, bigger, view of pool and Patio.

The hotel is showing some wear and tear. Our shower didn't have a lined long enough to keep water in the shower, the bottom of the bed was scuffed and torn, the toilet leaked when it was flushed and the shower handle was loose and difficult to turn on. Also, the carpet looked like it needed to be deep cleaned.

I have always wanted to stay there. The lobby is beautiful and it was nice to have on site parking (even if the price was excessive). The restaurant Revolution was a great birthday dinner and they treated us very well making a memorable experience. The courtyards are very beautiful.

The drumming noise right outside the hotel was disruptive to enjoying our stay. Room needed some maintenance (electrical outlets not working, coffee machine not working). Disappointing, as everything else about our stay was enjoyable. Thank you.

Location is perfect for enjoying the Quarter without having to drive in and park.

The doors and stick, the drawers stick. The bed needed a blanket, which we got after asking for the next day.

The only thing we didn’t like was the slight smell from the restaurant below. It was a tad loud at our room, but we knew that might be the case. Both issue didn’t really interfere with the stay, just more of a minor inconvenience

The hotel is great. I really enjoy the coffee. PJs is the best.

Location with main entrance on Bourbon Street was *VERY CHALLENGING*!! Bourbon Street was constantly full of deafening noise, drunks, homeless people. It would have been MUCH BETTER if there had been a second entrance/exit on the other side of the block, on Royal Street. The hotel /per se/ was beautiful: but it fronted onto a sea of drunk party-goers.

Location in the French Quarter was great. Room was very comfortable and quiet (because it faced the inner courtyard)
