To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaIt was a 3 in one Hotel, but this hotel is old, you can tell at one point it was a high class establishment but now it's old and heavily discounted. Everything looks brown and dingy. They initially gave us the worst room with a view of their dry dirty pool. The rooms were okay but nothing to write home about. Doesn't offer smoking rooms or pets.

United States of AmericaDecent price. They gave my room to someone else but didn’t realize so when I went to my room someone was already occupying it. The next three keys they gave me didn’t work. I took me an extra 30 minutes just to get into my room. They had two cancellation charges added to my card. I never canceled a room. I’ve called twice and haven’t been able to speak with a manager.

United States of AmericaOnly one towel and rag in the room. The security guard racially profiled my boyfriend. I don’t know if it was because of how he was dressed and everyone else was dolled up he was followed all the way up to our room and he had the room key. I watched and waited then went into the room after the guard left. He then came back and knocked on the door and asked if we were smoking marijuana in the room but looked surprised to see me come to the door. Didn’t knock on any other doors just left. You could hear him walking back and forth by the room

We were so worried about leaving our car alone in the parking lot that my husband even went and talked with the parking lot security guard and asked to keep an eye on our car. Halls smelled of marijuana. Saw the biggest cockroach I have ever seen on the floor in the first floor hallway. It was picked up fairly quickly when staff was alerted. Gentleman’s club located directly across the parking lot. Back of building is fenced off, I’m assuming, to keep riffraff out. Bathtub took about 1/2 to drain after a quick shower. No signage to find correct hotel. We finally went into one and had to ask front desk staff which hotel was the correct one.
Beds were comfortable. Price. Ice water offered in lobby was nice.

The room did what it needed to do, provide us somewhere to lay our heads after the concert. A/C was nice.

It really doesn’t look how the pictures portray the Hotel to look. I’ve seen way better upscale Ramadas and Clarion Hotels.

There were 3 hotels connected together and the way the GPS brought us in, we never saw the name on the hotel. I went to the front desk to check in. The lady said that everything was good. The next morning they called us and told us to move our things out the room immediately because we were at the wrong hotel. Really!!!!
