Towels were very small. I didn’t mind but some might like it being so close to the railway line and freight trains throughout the night.

Typical 1950’s motel room - not big but ok for an overnight stay. The room was clean with updated furnishings. Bathroom tiny but it was clean.

Called 2 days earlier than our reservation and asked to change it one day later. They agreed , saying no problem. When we arrived I found out they had logged us as no show and processed our payment.

The railway lines are across the road, so some people might find it a bit loud but I wasn’t bothered by it.

Room was exactly as described, it was dated but I knew that from the pictures. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were lovely and fresh, I had a great nights sleep. I would stay here again, great value.

The constant train traffic is hard if you're not a sound sleeper.

The staff got us into a room before check-in time because I was feeling ill. They were so helpful and kind. Leslie went out of her way to make sure we had what I needed. She and her fellow staff member work so hard.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I appreciated him accommodating my ground floor request. Room was very clean, as to be expected.

Upon arrival, my remote control for the tv wouldn't work. Within minutes, the son of the owners was up with a brand new remote control. Very comfortable bed, and very clean room. Nice bathroom with a window that opens! I wanted to be near downtown and this hotel is in a perfect location.

The coffee pot, the toilet paper and yes, there was road noise but that’s what happens when you choose one on Main Avenue

We ran out of toilet paper. There was not an additional roll available. And the coffee pot took 22 minutes to perk a small amount.

Only one roll of toilet paper, and short on towels, washcloths, and hand towels. Shower stopper didn't work right, and water collected while showering. Had to hold drain open with my hand to drain it.

Bathroom let the room down a bit. Decor was tired. Needs a fresh lick of paint. Bathroom window covering was ugly too and bathroom was cold compared to the rest of the room.

An affordable alternative to the branded hotels. Room was spacious with comfortable bed. Great that they have fridge, microwave and coffee pot in all rooms. Lots of onsite parking.

Better instructions on checking out. I arrived late and left early so I had to wake the owner to return my keys. For the life of me I couldn't find the drop box marked clearly anywhere.

At this price this hotel is perfect for an overnight stop. It is roughly midway between Reno and Albuquerque which while can be done in a single leg at roughly 14 hours it is inadvisable. I wouldn't pay much more to simply have a bed to sleep in for the night but at the price it was perfect.

The coffee maker could have been cleaner and the coffee brand wasn't very good. The bathroom was at the opposite end of the room and unless the door was left open, it got quite cold. However, there was a street light outside the motel and the light came in through the bathroom window too much to sleep necessitating closing the door.

The bed was soft, but comfortable. The pillow gave support to your head. The shower was basic but appeared to be new--nice tile on walls and floor. The shower head was great--all the jets worked and were not clogged with calcium. The water pressure was just right and the controls were simple and intuitive. The small fridge was cold and the ice portion was able to freeze a bottle of water. The heater worked well and the fan was like "white noise" that muffled the trains that went by every couple hours. The toilet looked new and clean and the sink faucet got hot water rather quickly. Same with the shower hot water.
