The room could have been cleaned a bit better, but the condition would not deter me from staying here again.

The parking lot and exterior were very well lit. The location was great; right off the highway with plenty of dining and shopping close by. The hotel was very quiet and we were able to rest well. It's definitely a good value for the price and location.

Lied about the deposit amount and refunded the incorrect amount!

My stay was shortened by a day but I had already paid, I was not refunded my stay which was fine however I was told I was charged a $50 deposit and I was actually charged a $60 deposit. Then I was only refunded $50. So there is $10 missing. If you do that to 10x a day to 10 different people, that’s $100 they are making off innocent people! Wrong!

The hard water in Indy is terrible for showering, but this is a citywide issue. It's drinkable but has a taste. The only issue specific to this hotel was the office and lobby being blocked off during renovations.

We stayed at Red Roof Inn South during Gen Con. We have previously stayed at the Red Roof Inn near the airport for Gen Con before and it was subpar (no cleaning service ever, no new towels, breakfast was bad). This Red Roof was under renovation while we were there, so they had no facilities or breakfast. However, the cleaning service came everyday and provided us ample towels and toiletries. The bed was clean and comfortable; the space was quiet. It was 10-20$ per ride to uber to the convention center and rarely took ~15-20 min. I definitely recommend this as a budget option for Gen Con. Most hotels this cheap will not be nearly as pleasant.

My room was very dirty to say the least and there was blood spatter on the walls which is hazardous!! I even took pictures it was absolutely unacceptable nothing had been wiped down and the chair at the desk was repulsive with all types of dirt and hair and yuck!!! I unfortunately sat down in it before looking!!! The bed didn’t seem to be clean and there was a hair tie left on the bed the floors were definitely not swept either and there were a couple of dead bugs/spiders on the floors and the phones do NOT work which is unacceptable as I could not communicate with my child out of town when my cell phone died..she couldn’t even call the 800 number to reach me and their answer was they could not get ahold of anyone at the property I was at to speak to me besides the 800 number which was very unacceptable in the event of an emergency and myself not even being able to dial at given the prompts on the phone and yes there was a dial tone! I had to go to the front desk after attempting to contact thru the platform I booked thru twice and then I had to call because they do not have anyone at the desk around the clock and no one answered finally I was not greeted but met by a man that worked there and was not friendly and did not care to hear anything I had to say which I was not unpleasant at all and he cut me off until he said what do you want I told him I want a clean room that is the least they could do! Which he did so after and I then had a clean room. I wouldn’t recommend to my friends or family to stay there and also the vending area and ice machines state they are only open from 6a-10p. Not a pleasant experience as I also got in later in the evening and didn’t have a clean room and not friendly customer service seems you just want money and on to the next fb that’s why they were very vacant..

The price was among the lower stays in the area almost the lowest..although I had to pay a 100 deposit as well

Lock malfunctioned, but manager put me in another room until maintenance could open it, so at least I could get some sleep before work. Would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room, but lobby had some.

The heater worked great, room temperature was perfect.

Bed was a bit rough and was a higher than normal rate for a Red Roof, but understandable considering events happening in that area.

That we had to switch rooms but it was only next door with double beds when we had a King room but new room had refrigerator where old room didn't.

The room's carpet was in poor condition and there was some pretty foul odor right outside the main entrance

Our room smelled like cigarettes which for a “no-smoke” room, was messed up. Our clothes smell from the room.
