Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was a little dated and worn, no USB ports in the bedroom, no housekeeping during my stay.
Lots of space in the room for a good price. Breakfast staff were really nice, breakfast was good. Perfect location for NSF meeting.

The booking.com reservation came under a slightly different name than I expected. When I used my last name to try to check in there was nothing in the system that related to my booking. I also tried to use my confirmation number to pull up my reservation, but it did not work either. It wasn't until I attempted with first name 15 mins and one call to booking.com later that I was able to check in. It would be amazing if in the future you ensure multiple options for confirming a reservation.
I liked how close it is to the stations and how easy it is to get to old Town Alexandria or downtown DC. I also loved the facilities, a true studio suite.

Price of parking.
We liked the size and plan of the room. It was close to the metro line. The staff was extremely helpful.

I didn't feel the warm welcoming feeling when I got there the front desk personnel seemed like I was bothering him. When we got in the room the room had an unpleasant smell.

Since I travelled from Europe, it would be easier if the hotel would support also adaptors for my laptop.
Breakfast was really good. There were so many options and you could eat as much as you want. The room was also very big and comfortable with a very soft bed. The employees were really helpful and provided me with an adaptor for my phone.

I did not open the fold out couch but when I sat on it there was an ominous creaking. The handle of the toilet was broken. Had to open the tank to make sure the water stopped running.
Breakfast was delicious. I was especially fond of the homefries! Room was fine. The staff was very nice.

I noticed there were items in the recycling bin and my sinuses bothered me as soon as I got into the bed.

Room looked a bit tired and in need of a refresh. Parking in the garage was a bit of a challenge and difficult to navigate, but I got the hang of it.
Room was fine, clean(ish), and had an awesome full kitchen.

Main entrance is not very clear. For a new arrival, it's little confusing. Some food option should be available to buy if someone arrives late.

Limited vehicle height parking. Not certain if vehicle dimensions are stipulated in the terms, however even if they are, it should be addressed at booking. For instance, NOTE: On Premises Vehicle Parking - Maximum Vehicle Xft with an initial box acknowledgment. Our van was rejected at check-in on 6/28/23 due to its height and spent an hour inquiring with Police Dept., Fire Dept., Park and Ride etc. with no resolution as to where to park our van. We had to park our work van in the street for 5 nights. 2nd Issue, we canceled one 4 day reservation for Elmer on 6/28. We were billed/charged for 5 days. Booking.com is addressing with the hotel. This is totally unacceptable.

Just make sure to check ur receipt. We got charged for parking and didn’t park there. But it was handled promptly and we got our money back.

Having to register before able to get into parking lot; laundry facilities were mostly broken (even some not marked out of order) and the dispensers kept taking our money and failing to deliver detergent.
Staff was very nice.
