Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was clean and comfortable though a little dated. There was no A/C, but two fans were provided which we did not need as we slept with the windows open and there was a nice breeze. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on where to have dinner. It was good value for the money, and I would stay here again.

The rooms are not big, but it's what we expected. No AC, but it was unusually warm, and perhaps that doesn't happen very often.
Location is very good. It was clean and good value.

The motel is on a busy road so you can hear the cars passing by if you’re a light sleeper. Didn’t bother me and once it got late, there were hardly any cars out anyways. No AC if you’re a hot sleeper in the summer or if you don’t want to open the windows due to the sound of cars outside.
Affordable motel with clean beds and bathroom. Great place to crash for a night or two if you’re exploring Olympic. Our room didn’t have AC which isn’t a must in the region but having two standing fans in the room was nice, especially for the white noise. The staff let us drop off our bags early and even brought them up to our rooms for us once they were ready which was so nice. They even offered to let us leave them in the rooms when we checked out early to hike for staff to bring them down to the office if we wanted to retrieve them later. The motel is just down the road from the waterfront and great restaurants.

Motel was right on the highway. Very noisy as traffic quite heavy. Property was clean, but needed to be updated.

I didn’t realize that there is no air conditioning. Apparently, I did not see in the amenities section that they provide fans. There were 2 fans , but one you had to put in the window and it felt unsafe. The window by the bathroom was up high so I didn’t worry, but the other window was right along the walkway. It did cool at night, but you had to keep the window open so it wasn’t stuffy. There was a lot of street noise with the window open .. It’s an older hotel. They do put in a lot of effort to make it comfortable.
It was convenient to Olympic National Park. Room was clean. Front desk clerk was exceptional. Decent parking, although a little tight. It seems like the hotel really tries by making sure the room is clean, trying to make it comfortable and providing good linens and sheets. Bed was very comfortable

Excellent location and value. Front desk check in staff very helpful and welcoming. Good tips on visiting Hurricane Ridge. Small shower but lots of hot water. Would recommend and return.

Next to the busy street and it was loud. The facility is old and could use some remodeling.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Checking in was fast and the key drop was convenient.

Decent place to stay while visiting Hurricane Ridge. Nothing fancy but clean. Sound proof is not that great. Bathroom could used a bit upgrade and on a cold side.

Late check it was smooth and easy. We were called in advance and texted instructions to access our key after hours. The room, though not fancy, was very clean, as was the bathroom. We had plenty of towels, TP, etc. It was a good value for the cost.
