Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI give this place high ratings for value, and for us, great location. It’s kind of bare bones, but very clean, and close to family we were visiting. Fun neighborhood to walk in with Chinatown shops, restaurants and bakeries, and parking!

BrazilOn the second night I got a call early in the morning from the front desk asking me to move my car because it was blocking another car. But the front desk confused my car that was parked properly at a parking space to someone else's. That was really annoying taking in consideration that I went to bed late the night before and could not go back to sleep. Also they don't have/provide "Do not disturb"signs and every morning the housekeeped would knock on the door and yell asking if we needed the room cleaned.
I booked the room for a festival. The location was good just because it was close to the venue. Beds are comfortable but the staff was disorganized and not friendly.

United States of AmericaIt's an old place. We knew that when we booked so I can't hold that against them. It's clean and a good place to sleep.
Loved the location. We went to The Chinese New Year parade and it was awesome. So close to everything, parking on site. Would recommend if you want to hang out it China Town.

United States of AmericaWe found everything to our liking and the cleaning staff were very accommodating providing the clean linens that we requested everyday. The convenience of having on-th-premise parking was a very nice touch.
Location was fun and accessible to DTLA. Super quiet and easy to navigate. Pagoda is a motel where guests were courteous, quiet and kept to themselves. Our room was spacious, very clean and the beds were comfy. I would definitely stay her again.

United States of AmericaSpring mattress, thin blanket, and it was a little noisy. I didn't hear any Saturday night nightlife, but I could hear the cars driving by and people in other rooms.
Economical choice, and Chinatown was cute and felt safe, especially compared to any option downtown.

United States of AmericaWe were on the lower floor, and fresh water started dripping from the one spot in our bathroom ceiling, then a second spot, then a third spot, and suddenly we found ourselves in the 2017 film "The Shape of Water" instead of "La La Land." The front desk gave us a bucket and the dripping eventually stopped.
Close to the freeway, good for exploring Chinatown, featured in a night shot in the 2016 film "La La Land," and a good price compared to the competition and includes parking.

United States of AmericaParking was free, which is almost unheard of in this part of the city (so a plus) but the spaces were small. Very difficult to get in and out of. I recommend parking then taking an Uber to the game. An Uber one way is about $9…parking at the stadium was about $25.
Loved the location. I selected the motel based on its proximity to Dodgers Stadium and price. It was a great choice! Front office staff was very kind. The neighborhood felt very safe. We enjoyed a quick visit to China Town…right down the street. We ate at Foo Chow (where Rush Hour was filmed) and meandered a bit. The motel room was very basic…but very clean. This is always my priority. We slept comfortably. We could hear the children in the room adjoining, but it was to be expected…it’s an older building. Hotels/motels close to the stadium can be very expensive $300-400 per night. We have stayed in overpriced ones before, but this was a much better choice.

ItalyThe room was in a busier part of the property, we could hear the bus from 5am and people talking as they passed. Also, the pipes in the bathroom and the air conditioning in the near unit could be heard a lot in the evening. Location was somewhat sketchy, too many homeless and obvious drug users in the surrounding area and near transit centers.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
