It's an older building, so there are some interesting features in the rooms. The bathroom was very small, to open the door you had to step behind the toilet, just a bit awkward. And the parking fee is mentioned, but it is not mentioned as a recurring daily fee.

Staff was great, good location. They did provide ear plugs which we didn't end up needing, but could be nice, Would recommend they put 2 pairs in the rooms for when they are needed.

Parking lot was tiny but reasonably priced and expected for downtown. Heard lots of trains really close by. The bathroom was pretty small and had a very small older toilet.

Good location for the knitting factory which is where we were going. Walking distance to many restaurants. Room was older but clean and comfortable. Appreciated having two sinks.

Nothing really. Everything was as I expected. The elevator was a little small and slow but it was ok.

We were attending a concert at the Knitting Factory so we wanted somewhere close, Hotel Ruby fit the bill. This is an older, basic, but clean and convenient hotel. The desk staff was friendly and helpful at both checking and check out. We only spent one night, the beds were ok, not the best but definitely not the worst. The bathroom and shower were clean and has been sufficiently updated decent shower pressure and toilet flushing. They provided foam earplugs in case the outside noise was too much but we had no problems with that, our room was towards the back though, maybe others get more street noise. All in all it was a good stay, I’d book again if I needed a downtown stay.

Unfortunately we arrived on a Monday night and hardly any restaurants were open - which, of course, was not the fault of the motel.

Hated the parking, the lot is super tiny and while they have overflow parking it’s in a public lot a block away. The car next to our had a window broken which makes me nervous to park there again.

Unfortunately, the bar was closed on Sunday. :( Parking was a little tricky but the front desk person was helpful to coordinate the small parking area.

Hotel Ruby is in the heart of the entertainment district. I chose this hotel because we needed a hotel close the airport but also wanted to be able to walk to Riverside Park. There is also many restaurants in this area. We came on Sunday evening so not many concerts but still a beautiful night to see the falls. The hotel room is on the small side but the bed was very comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet. I appreciate the custom paintings and visual appeal. Bathrooms are updated with nice amenities.

There's really not much to the property. Just the rooms on 3 floors around the parking lot. The bar was closed on the night I was there (Sunday). The rooms are very basic and the shower nozzle is very low for someone over 6'.

Great Location and the rooms were nice but small. The bed was comfortable and overall it was a great value. There is also a refrigerator in the room. I would stay here again if I was in Spokane for work and wanted to be downtown.

First room was over cleaned with bleach and fumes forced us to another room. Be aware parking is super tight but more a short block away. The rooms are tight for two but workable.

Great location downtown. No breakfast really, refrigerated packaged muffins and self pump coffee, it was fine. Very clean room.
