Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesMy partner and I loved our stay at RustRidge! Jim and Susan are wonderful hosts and their property is absolutely gorgeous. The full breakfast was delicious and unique and the full spread looked like something straight out of a movie. One day it was sausage, rosemary potatoes and eggs with fresh veggies and the next it was citrus zest pancakes with fresh berry compote and bacon (all of this also included yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit, oj, coffee, tea, etc). We loved getting to sit down to eat in the little dining nook with lovely views out the back of the property. During our stay, we did a wine tasting of some older estate vintages from 2012-2014. We particularly loved the 2014 petite sirah and bought a couple of bottles to take home since we enjoyed it so much. Lastly, one of the best parts of our stay was getting to meet and hang out with the five friendly ranch dogs Lucy, Amber, Cowboy, Max, and Lily! We will definitely be back for another stay or visit!

SingaporeSusan and Jim were both very welcoming and we felt right at home. They shared their dogs, cats and horses with us and there was so much love from the animals. The highlight for us were the morning walks with Jim and his dogs, as well as the evening feeds for the animals with Susan. The breakfast spread was bountiful and the hot food cooked by Ramona was fantastic; she changed it up for our second day so we had some variety. The pool was beautiful but unfortunately the weather was too hot to go outside for us to enjoy it. The location was a little bit of a drive from the main valley (also because of road closures/detours when we were there), but it gave us a unique experience from the commercialized stays in Napa. We will definitely be back.

United StatesMy only complaint was the bed. It wasn’t very comfortable and it was too small.
The breakfasts were stupendous. The hospitality was very good. I loved the location but traveling on the windy road to an from the property got a little old. Next time I would not plan as many excursions.

United StatesWe didn't have any cell signal; however, they have great wifi and tell you how to make sure wifi calling is turned on in case someone needs to get ahold of you - not a problem at all, just useful to know.
RustRidge is absolutely gorgeous! Surrounded by vineyards and several corrals/pastures of horses it is wonderful to walk around and enjoy the peace...such a nice escape from the busy-ness of life. Plus the breakfast and their wine were delicious!

The B&B is situated on beautifully planted and maintained property. We relaxed at the pool and just enjoyed the flowers, vineyards, and scenery. The breakfast was amazing!! It was worthwhile spending the money just to have the amazing breakfast. The hosts, Jim and Susan, are great people. They are accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our glass of wine and chats with them in the evenings. They also gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The check in and check out process was a breeze. The communication and directions were clear and concise before we arrived. Overall, it was a great stay.

United StatesWe did not end up spending the night here. This did not meet the expectation of the rating and reviews online and was out in the middle of nowhere up a long curving road . if you wanted to hike it may meet your expectations but is not easy to get to or from town. The room had paper thin walls and was next to the kitchen where the staff were cleaning. You could hear everything.
The person who I walked over to meet did not introduce herself as she was busy with 7 very cute puppies. We were there about an hour before check in and she said she did not expect us till later. she told us where the room was and let us go into the house to find it. We did not stay but they were kind enough to refund our second night.
