Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Nice hotel. Stayed there several times before. It is less crowded and a little quieter than the next closest hotel.

United States of AmericaWe were stuck in garage elevator ........called security from the elevator phone and they were not very convincing about sending help very quickly. Called 3 times and each time said they were "working on getting some one to us" the would hang up. Family inside hotel asked at desk if some one could come help us and they were unaware that elevator was even stuck. Another guest waiting outside the elevator was able to pry doors open and get us out............saw workers headed to elevator as we left after about a 30 min wait. Mentioned this at checkout and staff said it happens a lot in their garage elevators.
Location was great....walkable to crown center for a few restaurants/shops. Beds were comfortable.

United States of AmericaTook a long time to check-in with only two people helping the process as a fraternity was also checking in. Additionally the fraternity, which appeared to be from Creighton were extremely loud and disruptive all night - yelling and fighting in the halls. Lastly the hotel placed microwaves on folding tables near the elevators. This seems pretty janky for a supposedly “nice” hotel. Generally the hotel is fine, it used to be great though and it was somewhat sad to see its decline.
great location

United States of AmericaThe pillows on the beds are not comfortable. They’re too thin and soft once you lie down on them. Upon first glance, they look so comfortable. But, once you lie down, it’s not as comfortable as it should be. The toilets are really low. I’m almost 6 feet tall, and I felt like I was close to the floor once I got close to the seat. The children needed no help of course because it was at the perfect height. The elevators were a bit slow, but that was probably not the fault of the hotel since there were so many guests and children going up and down. There were also a lot of inconsiderate guests allowing the room doors to slam shut in the evening which made it a bit difficult to keep a baby asleep.
Loved the size of the rooms, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms and floors were clean. The staff from valet, to check in, housekeeping, check out were extremely helpful and very friendly considering there were hundreds of guests on site for various activities and not all were pleasant. The views of the city were absolutely beautiful at night! Very relaxing. All in all, I would highly recommend the Sheraton as “THE” place to stay for business or pleasure as they live up to the hype in my opinion!

United States of Americathere wasn’t any ventilation in the bathroom, the bathroom sink had toothpaste spit on the faucet and my bed had a flat sheet for the bottom sheet and it kept bunching up when turning in bed. The coffee maker could use an upgrade to k-cups. It was most disappointing that the mezzanine floor was closed down and the restaurant and bar supplement was not conducive and we couldn’t access the Link or the round room on the top floor . This could have been better planned. The things that brought me back to the hotel was a disappointment this time. It is also ridiculous that you have to pay to park at a place who wants your business. we don’t pay to park when grocery shopping!!
The location was beautiful and the bed mattress was comfortable.

United States of AmericaBreakfast menu was very, very limited. No sugar beverages and alternative foods available. I was at the pool and they did not skim it for 5 days. In addition, the hours were 5am to 10pm. I was there Monday at 830am and it was locked. I had to cal twice to have a manager come and unlock the pool.
Bed very comfortable. I had a room on the 32nd floor looking north. They accomodated my request. Terrific view of all of Kansas City! Nice little mini-fridge. Starbucks coffee pouches. Ice-make just down the hall. The "link" was a great connection walk to Union Station.
