To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Canadaavoid getting rooms facing the atrium. the pool closes at 7 or 8, but then they contract it out. even the slightest noise is echoed throughout the hotel. disappointing and disturbing the nights' slumber, but overall the hotel is very nice.

I was in my PJ’s! the proper answer should have been, we will bring you up some ! the restaurant was $$$$ in price for so so food. the wait staff (at the Starbucks station) in the morning when trying to get a water, were visiting and chatting so much, I had to go interrupt her to pay for it!!

AustraliaRoom was noisy at night, other guests running up and down the hall and shouting. Service at the bar was terrible, staff could hardly even bring themselves to serve us. Food was expensive bought 1 pizza and it was almost $50. Didn't even have a fridge in the room we had to ask for one!
Breakfast was great and our server was amazing, so different from the bar the previous night.
