Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe beds were very comfortable. The ventilation in the room and bathroom could have been better. The access stairwell was a bit scary and could be spruced up to be more inviting. Customer service was excellent. Parking fees were outrageous. As guests, parking should be included.

United States of Americathe waiter at the downstairs restaurant had a really bad attitude before we even started speaking to her, and continued to take it out on us, even rolling her eyes as we thanked her and left :/ maybe she was just having a bad day but it made us really uncomfortable and we didn't feel welcome to the restaurant
amazing view of LA, super convenient location near Universal Studios (which is why we stayed there), and they even had a shuttle going from Universal to the hotels back and forth every 10 minutes. all in all, they made it really easy for us to just enjoy our trip instead of worrying about logistics

United States of AmericaThe rooms had inadequate lighting, very dim. The hallway noise level was sleep disruptive. Our room was near the elevator which announced each door opening with loud dings. The hotel was very busy and only two of the three elevators were working. That led to long waits The restaurant was difficult to locate and the hostess station was tucked away in the back of the restaurant. The day of visited, the restaurant was not busy but I stood around for over 5 minutes trying to attract someone’s attention in order to be seated. My waiter, Juan, was wonderful though. Very nice
The rooms were clean, comfortable and there are plenty of charging ports

MexicoThe only thing I felt could improve was live location of where the shuttles are. At the CityWalk shuttle pickup point there is a TV with the live location of where the shuttle is and how long will it take to get there. They could that to the hotel pick point as well.
Our stay at Sheraton was exquisite. The hotel is beautiful, the interior design is modern and the ambience is very clean. The hotel was full of guests and I saw that as a positive thing. The hotel offers a shuttle to the Universal Park and City Walk which has restaurants and shops, which it's great for a end of day. The shuttle comes every 15 minutes and it is literally a 3 minute ride, but if you don't want to wait it is a 6 minute walk to the park. The room was very clean and scented, bathroom had all the amenities and shower was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable and the thermostat worked great whenever we wanted to make it cooler or warmer. The location for me was great because it was outside of the crowded areas in LA, it's up on a hill and the only thing close is the Universal park. I used Uber and it worked really well, it was a 5 min distance from the Warner Bros Tour, 8 min from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

United States of AmericaI feel the rooms are getting a little run down and for the cost of the rooms, they should take care of certain cosmetic issues (ex. Lifted and/or damaged carpet in the entry way) also our room was a little strange. They put a mini loveseat where the desk was and moved around the end tables. The left side of the bed ended up with no end table. That was terrible for me because that was my side. The remotes in the rooms need to be changed they are not user friendly and always make me frustrated.
Very close to Universal Hollywood Park. There is a free shuttle but the walk is pretty close as well. The bed is super comfortable and the room in general is very nice. The breakfast is very good and the staff in the restaurant is stellar. The coffee provided in the room is always good and I really love the mini fridge.

United States of AmericaWhen I checked in they asked if I wanted a high room with a view, which I did. What they didn't tell me was that I was below the conference / party room and for the last two nights it rocked until close to midnight. Felt like the party was in my room. When I complained, I was told they should have informed me when the events were booked, which was after I checked in. No discount, no voucher, no anything, just we're sorry.
Beautiful room and the bathroom was very modern. Great view of the valley and easy to get up to City Walk and the Studios. Have friends and family in the valley - was a great central location.

United States of AmericaVallet was rude. Didn’t let us stay up front while we unloaded unless we paid $55 for Vallet. Then said hotel parking was $45. I feel like paying for parking when your paying for the hotel is poor taste. Families budget for trips and typically don’t expect to pay $150 additional for parking.

The location of the Hotel is absolutely perfect as you can walk to Universal Studios in 5 minutes if you are a fast walker. The skyline view of LA from the room is also beautiful. My room was comfortable and I felt at home for the 5 days I stayed there. Wi-Fi also worked great which was super important to me because of my work.
