The room was extremely noisy from the freeway making it very difficult to sleep. The hot tub was not working. The breakfast was just okay.

The room came with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable.

I did not like that people were passing directly outside the only window, which meant I had to keep the curtains closed all the time. Every breakfast option (beverages, cereal, waffles) produced a huge amount of plastic garbage, or even worse, styrofoam waste. Absolutely terrible! The person who was supposed to fix a ceiling vent in the bathroom did it in such an unprofessional way that it broke again on the next day.

The room was spacious enough, and there was a desk suitable for writing. The breakfast options included waffles (that you make yourself with a waffle machine). When I told the receptionist that some things needed fixing in my room, she took care of it immediately.

The breakfast area isn't really big enough and got overcrowded at times. The breakfast is alright although there is no fruit provided at all and very little else containing any fibre. Most shameful of all is the complete reliance on single use plastic for everything - plates, bowls, coffee cups are all flimsy non-recyclable polystyrene - no stronger than card or paper so why not use these biodegradables or get proper plates and wash them up to minimise waste? Super 8 is disgracefully at least a decade or two lagging behind on environmental considerations.... There are no tea kettles provided in the rooms - these were 'removed due to COVID' - the threat from which subsided 2 years ago! Put them back to save guests the indignity of having to attempt coffee and tea making using a microwave....

My room at the back of the motel was away from the road and had no traffic noise (the adjacent I-35 offers most rooms the hum of 10 lanes of traffic and so is loud!). The pool is in reasonable condition and, though small, is quite deep and made for a refreshing dip. The flexible checkout until 12:00 was appreciated...

The highway was very noisy. The SXSW festival was on during my stay & the price was inflated due to this.

The rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and the elevator smelled of Marijuana. Also, maybe some updates like new bathtubs, and sheets without holes.

Breakfast was nice. Check in and check out was easy, but the ladies at the front desk could be a bit more welcoming. I like that it's very close to a Target and some food spots. The room was clean.

There was no packaged soap in the bathroom and what was there was a small piece in the shower stall. Which grings up the question about the cleaning of the bathroom, it does not seem to be adequate.
