Everything felt very "corporate chain" hotel. Which it is, but there really lacked a welcome, relax and stay vibe. We booked for the pool inclusion, but it was under maintenance for almost 3 hours of the "open" time posted. I understand things happen, but because no one on staff would/could tell us when it would be open again, it was frustrating with an excited 10 year old asking me how long over and over. The towels for the pool are a joke, but so were the room towels. Tiny and scratchy should not be how I should describe a towel. The beds were hard but l springy and I woke up sore all over.

We liked the size of the rooms, the price was fair enough, and the pool area was clean and comfortable once we were able to access it. This hotel was good enough for a needed night and we felt like the price was OK for what we got. The rooms were clean and the bedding was light but soft and warm. Pillows were comfy, and the room size was nice as well as the set up and seating was comfy.

Location right off the freeway. The staff was fantastic! Helpful, friendly making it feel as if I stay there often and they know me personally, especially the night girl at the front desk.

The hair dryer did not work their was soap in the lotion dispenser and the towels needed softener they were very textured and rough.

Side door didn't work, so that sucked when it came to parking cause it was raining. Minor inconvenience though.

Our neighbor. Everything else was excellent.

The hostess was very helpful. Even though the hotel says no smoking one of our floor mates smelled heavily of marijuana to the point where we were getting headaches and the hostess got us moved into a different room with little to no trouble. Shari’s was a good find as well, try the pie shakes. The gas station also had some great finds and very affordable gas.

The Hotel is old so it has some issues but that should be expected at a property like this. This property does its very best to keep a well maintained building. I would suggest a deep cleaning. Some places seem to be overlooked like elevator entries and the elevator itself. All in all though these small issue would not keep me from staying. The value is worth the stay and they will take care of you when the need arises.

Great value for the stay! Breakfast is awesome. Super simple but great for the value. The staff is very respectful and responsive to issues and needs. The maintenance department was exceptionally polite and did all they could to resolve issues promptly. The location is perfect to access all area attractions. All in all this is a great value hotel. I will continue to stay here when I see my family in roseburg!

Easily hear neighboring rooms. However, I think the guy next to us was arguing with someone over the phone in the bathroom. (Echo chamber) The gentleman working front desk had to help a customer that was a bit problematic. The customer didn’t reserve the right dates and the guy working was amazing through the whole thing. Really friendly even though the “can’t read a calendar” guy wasn’t very pleasant. The whole place is short staffed, but those working did so awesome.

Our room was dirty.. crumpled up old receipt was left on the desk from a past guest, didn’t sweep or mop, something was sticky all over the floor (we wore our shoes the whole time while in the room) toothpaste on the mirror from prior guest.

The staff was very friendly, which made it hard for us to want to go to her once we checked into our room and complain about it

We could have used soap in the bathroom. We had to use the shower stall soap that was pretty fragile. There was a large stain on one of the beds that was pretty gross. It seemed like the sheets were not clean. The reason for the lower rating. Rm 116 on Monday Jul 10.
