There was some wear here and there. But the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Also the room was quiet and I was able to park my car immediately outside which made things very convenient.

The man working the reception when I arrived was welcoming, helpful and professional. He represented the hotel very well. When asked he gave a recommendation on a restaurant located nearby. I went there for dinner and was completely satisfied.

The toilet was broken with the water continually running. They fixed that right away but didn't tighten the toilet seat which was loose to begin with. Maybe because we didn't complain about that. The phone didn't work and was from a different room.

We were told when we got there that there wasn't a lift, which I d mistakenly assumed there was, so we ended up taking a downstairs room as there was no help getting large suitcases upstairs...we were not offered a refund for the room we took because of the lack of lift, being not as good as the one we booked. There are folks that live in this hotel and we were next door to some. There are smoking rooms and non smoking ones, we don t smoke, however the neighbours did...right outside our door late at night and from 630 in the morning, not great, smelly and very irritating. Not a lot of soundproofing so if you have noisy neighbours you can hear them. When we left the young guy on the desk took our key cards and said you re OK to go...no thank you for staying, glad you had a good trip...nothing. Not sure he s the right person for a front of house roll.

Beds were clean and comfy, towels changed every day. Room was fine. Although close to busy roads you don t hear them so nit a problem. Breakfast was good, enough choice. Girl on front desk was extremely helpful and very welcoming. Plenty advice for places to go, eat etc. Plenty car parking too.

It's a very old hotel with no elevators. Really needs updating. The shower water could not be turned off and was running constantly.

Breakfast was minimal, only one side of the toaster worked. We had cockraoches in our room. And ended up canceling our stay after the first night. Not a good experience.

Nothing was "good" everything was slightly substandard. This ranges from breakfast to the rooms.

The bed sheets were stained, no shampoo or conditioner in the dispenser, was unaware our room was the last door in the hall had to listen to the outside door open and close all night. Also a couple next door were fighting and locked the other one out of the room and were banging on the door while we were trying to sleep. For the price I expected better. I hope they considering lowering the price for that side room because it’s hard to sleep when you hear a door slam over and over.

Breakfast was very basic, but at least what they had was relatively fresh. The carpet going from the lobby up to the second floor was very dirty. Perhaps they should just change it to tiles or vinyl.

The bed was very comfortable and the bed sheets were all very clean and new.
