This is a delightful historic building. The staff and the atmosphere were very friendly.The bedroom and bathroom were big and the bed was really comfy with super linens. It was very convenient to have the Blue Wing next door and we enjoyed the live music over the weekend.

The swimming pool was closed and were not told in advance. Cannot book a table in Restsurant through the hotel. Confusing when all are owned by same owner. Does not make sense.

Breakfast was just okay, our options were: granola, fat-free yogurt, croissants, jam and honey, boiled eggs, and some fruits.

We enjoyed our stay at Tallman Hotel - our room was very nice and had everything we needed, it was also very quiet (we are light sleepers), the parking lot has EV charging stations. There's a nice restaurant right next to the hotel.

We have eaten often at the restaurant and it is great. Music was fun. This was our first time at the hotel and it was just super, especially the hot bath/tub in our little patio. Decor lovely as was staff.

Being elderly, wish there was an elevator for the luggage.

The hotel was beautiful and luxurious in its historical decor as well as ultra modern amenities. From the linens to the bathroom to the drapes to the 2nd floor porch overlooking the garden and its alfresco dining area. Such a wonderfully unexpected gem after a long drive from Lake Tahoe. Wish we could have stayed longer. Even the Continental breakfast was a treat. Delicious and served on fine china.

This property was exceptional. The rooms: decor, size, bed size + comfort, bathroom (shower & bath) etc were all superb, and certainly our favourite accommodation so far whilst touring the West Coast USA. Staff friendly and helpful, pool was good. We consider this property very good value for money

The toilet was vintage, I think, but a bit too small and awkward for my partner, who's on the taller side (5'11"). There's music on the hotel porch every afternoon/evening, which is a bonus if you like that but if you're not into it is a bit irritating as you can hear it very well from all the rooms (apologies to the musicians and all who enjoy!).

The town and building are beautiful and the room had wonderful amenities! The bathtub was a dream. Despite the heat outside, the air conditioning kept us cool. The bed was very comfortable. We had a door that opened onto a long porch shared with several other rooms, which had a beautiful view of trees and mountains. The breakfast was good! Staff were so kind and helpful. Much of the property/land in town is owned by the Habematolel Pomo, which makes one wonder whether one should be here for casual tourism (not a negative, just a fact).

This is a lovely location with kind and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and extremely well-appointed and comfortable rooms. We loved sitting on the porch in the quiet. It's worth noting that the hotel has quite a lot of live music, usually during the day and early evening (over by 9 PMish), and it's quite audible from the rooms. Perfect if you're into it, but a bit tiring if you were hoping for more peace and quiet!

Best place on a three week trip on the West Coast. Had one of the old rooms in the main house and it was incredible!!! We were blown away by this hotel. The room was amazing, with a fantastic bathroom. Lovely pool and fantastic restaurant. Insane value for money.

We enjoyed our one-night stay. The rooms are cozy and quiet, we could hear the mini fridge running but not the AC. Jazz music outside added to the atmosphere. We didn't try the pool, it was late and not too hot that we ended up chilling on the room's front balcony eating from the Blue Wing restaurant menu.

Absolutely nothing.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels anyone can stay in. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished with delightful touches that make you feel the owners were thinking about a travellers comfort rather than just providing a nice room and a bed to sleep in.

I was amazed by this place. It has style! I spend much time just taking pictures of detailed interior and exterior. The awesome pool and the saloon on the property covered all our needs - fun for kids and good food and drinks for parents. Our room had a living room and bedroom, which was so convenient for our group. Other guests were so great and said it was their regular place to stay.

We enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at the Tallman Hotel. The King Suite was clean and very spacious. The balcony outside was a wonderful bonus, especially with a very fine band playing below until early evening. And it was a special treat to have dinner delivered to our room by the Blue Wing Saloon next door.
