Left luggage is only business hours, closes at 17.00, that was not very convenient, you have to look for other options. The price was quite high for what it is.

Very good location, you can walk to many places, the L is kind of close. The rooms are large and very clean.

Long wait for bellman services/bag storage. Need more staffing and bag storage space. At first he asked me to leave my bags sitting in the lobby, not in a secure room, since the storage space was “full.” When I complained, he somehow found space in the room for my bags.

Everything was good except the bellman staff and bag storage setup. Nice upgraded room.

Bed felt more like a fold out sofa bed. Housecleaning was chatting with co-worker in front of the room for a period of time. Inconsistency with housekeeping and had to ask for amenities to be replenished.

Location. The night greeter. They were always pleasant and made you feel welcome. It’s nice to see they always have a smile on their face. Checkin check out was seamless. We arrived a little early and appreciated that we were able to go into the room earlier than checkin time.

The carpeted room were a concern for hygiene reasons. The cleaning was also inconsistent.

Wifi: At first I got a charge to my room but when I raised it, this was reversed. The promo materials say free wifi. It is slower than I expected. At check in, someone should explain the wifi options.

The central location. The hotel is cost effective-as it is clean, historical, central and yet well priced. It is quite a landmark and feels like a 'grande dame' of Chicago. Close to good eating establishments and also to the Northwestern university which is where I needed to be! Very convenient!

Restaurant was closed, so no in room dining. There is no room service available so you’d have to make trips to the reception for anything. No slippers or other toiletries provided.

Value for money, clean and affordable. Great location with 10 min walk to the river walk. Unlimited complimentary bottled water.

There were stain running down the walls under the bedside tables and hair in the beds. Rooms were extremely small.

I often heard police sirens from the window that impacted my sleep but I guess the hotel can't do anything about that.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Quick check-in and check out. Good price and great location close by to everything. It worked well for a solo traveler.

Staff handling luggage on departure day was very unprofessional: when I got back to the hotel, there was no one to assist and I had to wait for 30-40 mins in the downstairs lobby, growing increasingly stressed about making my flight. When luggage was finally handed back, I was informed no taxi had been booked - which I had requested when leaving luggage that morning - and I had to take public transport instead. This took noticeably longer than a taxi would have been; and it was already later than anticipated because of the absent door man! Very stressful.

This was all excellent, especially enjoyed the great views from my room. Wifi was strong enough to have a job interview over zoom from the room!

The bed was uncomfortable, the daily $ deposit wasn't mentioned until we got to the hotel to check-in, the room had some prior damage/an old look/needed some updates, the bar closed early for a weekend in Chicago, and elevator wait times were terrible around 10:30am-12:30.

Location, 1920's theme, nice staff, good brand for toiletries, and comfy space.

They haven't refunded me the security deposit despite being told it would reflect in my account with seven days. Its now 21 days and no show.

The whole room environment was very nice. I enjoy quiet and peaceful places. And this was one of them.
