Not enough lighting. The room was dark. Room service did not clean our room while we were there. Remote control did not work.

I had the choice to take a smaller room with a view (queen bed) or larger room (king bed) with no view. I should have taken the king bed, my bad. The room was pretty small

1. The hotels is worn. The floors need to be sanded. The pole in the elevator is falling off. The doors are steel but hollow so you really hear everything from the neighbors - everything. There are 3 subway stations within a short walk. One is in a neighborhood prone to crime. Worth noting. But the other two are ok.

Great view and amazing pizza in the restaurant downstairs. Loved that there was free coffee in the morning. Bed was comfortable and generally it was very quiet (unless there were noisy neighbors in the other room). Great quality toiletries. Very friendly staff.

The "balcony" was just a metal frame and no seating area. The aircon leaked in the bedroom. No b and b in the rate.

The rooms are really dark, even with all the lights on

The rooftop has a gorgeous view, but it's a separate bar, so you'll find people who aren't staying at the hotel there. It is only open during its opening hours.

The hotel was very modern and clean with helpful and friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable with a small balcony and fantastic view over to the Manhattan skyline. The rooftop bar also has tasty pizza and a great view,especially when all the lights are coming on at night. John Browns bbq and Lost in Paradise rooftop bar are nearby and well worth a visit if you want something different to Manhattan.There are a few subway stations within walking distance and these easily connect you to lots of tourist spots and JFK airport in around 45 minutes. I would happily stay at this hotel again or recommend it to others.

Everything was perfect except their policy on left items in your room. Basically they immediately put anything in the trash and so we lost two very special items even though we hadn’t actually left the property.

That our room only had one pedastal at the bed, no bedside lamps or lights close to the bed and no new USB chargers installed, only the ones on the alarm clock which chargers at low output. The room could do with a fridge, and not offered as an extra.

The service from the staff were very good, and they were very helpful. It was the only establishment willing to accept the security deposit in cash. We did like the industrial feel and look of the hotel.

The location is so and so, quiet but 10' from the metro.

The room is very big and comfortable and with lots of light and quiet. We liked the industrial decoration amd the nice modern bathroom. The amenities also very good. Super clean also. Very friendly and professional staff.

The space was great, but there wasn’t much furniture - just a bed, two small bedside tables, and a desk and chair under the wall-mounted TV. It would have been nice to have an armchair or loveseat. With all the space we had, it felt a bit empty.

It was the biggest hotel room we’ve had in NY for the price. Lots of room and the balcony was so nice to get some fresh air in the morning/evening. The location was good - short walk to subway and less than 15 minutes on the subway into Manhattan. Relatively quiet location with shops and restaurants nearby.
