The proximity to the ocean was perfection. Glorious sunrises just outside our front door every morning. The very short walk to a beautiful, private sandy beach with large umbrellas and comfy lounge chairs was so convenient. The views were stunning! We took daily beach walks, and swam in the ocean and the heated pool everyday. Every staff member was polite, friendly and very efficient and accommodating. The people we met there, many of whom have been coming for years, were all so lovely. The place had that Old Florida charm and character. Our apartment was comfortable, clean and had most of what we needed. The continental breakfast was simple but met our needs quite well. The coffee which was readily available all day was actually so delicious! We used our patio every day for breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks. We had a wonderful time exploring nearby restaurants and shops. We really can't say anything negative. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

The greatest advantage of the Delray Breakers is its location. Right on a splendid beach away from the crowd. It’s very laid back, casual, they want to maintain the atmosphere of Florida in the 1950´s. It’s an ideal place to relax and enjoy long walks on the beach, their pool, the lounge chairs and parasols on the beach. We were there 10!years ago. The small bungalows have been renovated up to a point, new chairs on the beach and around the pool, well kept gardens and putting green. A fresh coat of paint on all the exterior walls of the small units. Inside them units, a mix of old and really old with a few modern items. The breakfast they serve is for pick up at their small library room with bottles of water, juices, coffee, tea, danishes, bagels, health bars and sometimes oranges. They have one Laundry and one dryer machines a bit rusty but still working , free for the guests’ use. An ice machine and Coke machine. Some people rent for a whole month year after year. You can bring your dog to the Delray Breakers which is a big plus. If you find the rooms third class, and the price not in Lign with that, no one could blame you but the place is so relaxing and ideal to recharge one’s battery without chichi- read, walk, swim. To walk to Atlantic Avenue where the action is in Delray is rather far but some new restaurants and stores can be walked to from the Breakers over the Linton Bridge. We probably will go back there as we really enjoyed it. Each unit has a small front patio with two chairs and a table and to lounge chairs

It’s not really breakfast. It’s a room with an old timey coffee machine and a bowl of granola bars, some apples and oranges, and juice in plastic bottles. Not bacon and eggs and it’s completely self serve. If one is thinking it’s a real breakfast meal they will be disappointed. The beach was fabulous and the place is very clean, however the appliances were not in very good shape. I would still go back because there’s a retro charm and the folks are really 😊 nice

Even though reasonable price for this area, the room, although spacious needed a great deal of renovation. It could use painting, a closet door, update the bathroom with better grouting. It was clean and the king bed comfortable.

Property is in a nice location with a nice pool, putting green, and easy walk to private beach with lounge chairs available.

room was outdated. Not enough modern outlets to charge and plus in convenient locations including no outlet in bathroom. The bathroom needs upgrades. breakfast was unhealthy. why offer unless its going to be nourishing. Too much junk food including sugar packed oatmeal. More fruits options would be good

I thought I read hot breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, waffles would be served. It was a cafe with bagels, sometimes muffins and pastry. You could make your own breakfasts in your room. I just thought it would have been one less meal I would have to make for everyone while on vacation.

The location was great and the beds were comfortable. We did appreciate the water bottles and hot chocolate machine werre always available.

Had to take stairs to room. Interior had new floors but that was it. Peeling paint, old everything. It was clean but don't expect an updated, fresh look/feel.

Cute place. Bed/pillows were comfy. Pillow style options were nice. Very spacious.... A bit much for a solo traveller but would be great for two or more. The balcony was nice... Good view of the ocean.

Room is old and in need of a deep cleaning and refresh. Couch was so dirty we didn’t want to sit on it. The water to rinse feet after coming off the beach was not working so we tracked a lot of sand into our room. Pool is dirty.

Close to beach. Driving distance to many shops and restaurants. Check in was easy.

Could update bathrooms. But again, they were clean. Being south florida, fans would be nice, but room was cool. Had to replace grill gas tank which was slightly annoying but not that big of a deal.

Daily continental breakfast which was simple but fine. Apartment was very nice, with a retro feel. Loved the kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave and kitchen stuff. Most things were updated. Bathroom was kind of dated but everything was very clean. Very happy with accommodations overall. Great access to beach. Supplied canopies and chairs at beach. Had grill available onsite for grilling. Pool and grounds were nice.

Some guests, in fact a large family, exceeded all the limits of education and respect, not respecting the hours of silence, glass bottles, animals and loud noise in the pool, we took into account that it was a long holiday, but that did not give you the right to disturb other guests.

The location is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable, right on the sand, tents and chairs to relax on the beach, and the breakfast is good.
