The rooms were comfortable and the other people we bumped into on property were super kind. LOVED that it was so dog friendly and our canine companion could enjoy herself on the grass and with other dogs.

We liked our stay, but felt like it was overpriced for an old motel that was surface remodeled without any restaurant or a full bar on site. I like the vibe and really don’t mind “lipstick on a pig” properties but felt like this one was truly overpriced. And charging for coffee in the room was just silly - not a high end experience.

Great big rooms, cleverly decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the pool area, lots of room for everyone. The lobby area was also very cool and comfortable with lots of great small batch brand merchandise for purchase. We will be back!

As it was an old construction, the noise isolation is not so good. I am in 2nd floor balcony while I can clearly hear what the ground people talking. I want to enjoy my little balcony and the fresh air, but I can’t as it’s too noisy. Besides that everything is perfect.

The property is newly renovated, everything is good with relaxing pool and a little grassland. This will be good for a family or a group of friends.

Room was well decorated but minimal. The property was awesome. The pool and large grass area were so beautiful and great for a picnic. We will definitely be back!

They charged 4.00 for instant coffee in the room. Although they offered free coffee in the lobby, the lobby didn’t open until 8:00. With the expense of the hotel, some way to offer coffee earlier in the day for those of us who like to start the day before 8 am would have been nice.

The property was beautiful, within walking distance to town and very clean.

Wish there was coffee available in room at no charge, there are coffee bags like tea bags and a kettle at $4.00 each. Lobby coffee wasn’t available until 8am.

The property is gorgeously renovated, furnished, landscaped, and appointed. The staff at the front desk was an angel. Wish we didn't have to leave!

Shower area gets very wet. We noticed a strong sewer odor one of the days but not sure if it was related to the hotel itself or the city.

Loved the free bikes available to make a quick less than 10 minute ride into the main drag of town. The overall aesthetic was lovely.

Tip: Be sure to research nearby restaurants for meals, as the hotel does not offer food on-site, which was completely fine for us since we were happy to step away and explore the town for some great dining options.

We absolutely loved every second of our visit to The Capri Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the staff, which set the tone for our entire stay. We spent most of our two days lounging at the beautiful pool, which was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The hotel itself was exceptionally well-maintained, offering the perfect environment for our little family of four to enjoy some quality time together. We loved chatting with a friend who came to visit and playing with the kids in the pool. The room was just what we needed—comfortable, cozy, and well-appointed. We’ll definitely be back for another relaxing getaway!

There was some street noise -- but not a lot and not loud. Ojai in general is fairly quiet.

The decor is SO cute and beautiful. The cozy living room vibes of the lobby, the stunning pool oasis, and the rooms themselves! Felt like stepping back in time.
