The bed was compiled of a very soft mattress with a memory foam topper. This creates a sleep experience with ZERO body support. While this might be the preference for some people, a happy medium would be much better and easily achieved by having at medium or firm mattress with the memory foam topper. Neither of us slept well the 2 nights we stayed and was the deciding factor in our early departure. Also, the cleaning/maintenance of the spa tub wasn’t very good.

Central location to the activities available in Big Bear. It was clean overall and we really liked the backlit vanity mirror and the abundance of available wall outlets/usb ports for device charging.

Price was $135 special when I was booking and after entering card and submitting my card was charged $194. That's the first time I ever experienced something like this with Booking.com. Totally wrong doing.

Overall, I liked the room, but there are a few comments: 1. The floor was a bit dirty, so walking around without shoes was not very pleasant 2. I would have liked to see wine and champagne glasses in the room (there were regular glasses). 3. There was no sharp knife.

The room was very spacious. Nice atmosphere, but the best thing is the large bathtub with hydromassage. The pleasant design of the room itself is conducive to romance and relaxation.

Great Decor, the jacuzzi was the highlight of visit... .It would of been nice to have ice in Trays & a couple of bottles of water for Kurig. fire was on when we arrived we y warm welcome.& creamers were provided for Am BED super comfy Lakeside offered great food with a view across street Exceeded my expectation Glad we found you passed it a couple of times Super TV selections too HAPPY the electronic check in went well.

The accomodation was very good , any issue for me was more with the area. The area of big bear is a bit awkward... Ubers are a bit here and there , hard to get, and Uber is worse when it snowed. There is a local cab service though costs more than Uber and demand is very high especially when it snows. And I didn't have boots so it was difficult to get downstairs with a suitcase when it snowed , stairs covered in snow. Maybe the guide book could mention to get boots from eg a local ski shop, just incase. Cos otherwise socks get soaked. I even missed a plane because of transport issues there when it snowed. And the name Big Bear is a tourist trap. I only saw two bears, one black, one brown, and in the local zoo. Though maybe safer that way! The light where the fan was was a bit flickery but it didn't matter as I didn't need or use that light . Didn't need that big fan either. The "electric fireplace" heating was good in the room but super fiddly to operate , some instructions could be included. There was another heating option which was good to have though didn't need it as the "electric fireplace" was fine.

Clean and the "off road experience" nearby, riding a jeep in interesting terrain , with guide Tyler, was excellent , and was recommended in the very useful guide book in the room.

Our only "knocks" are very minor. The TV has streaming connections to visitor accounts (YAY!) but there is no way we could find to access local channels, so thank goodness we had recorded KC/Baltimore game at home. Would have been nice to have a box of tissues available. Only one plate available, not a big deal since we didn't need plates, plenty of other tableware, etc.

Staff was very responsive, note: this is a contactless property, so all communication is via text or phone. There were lots of pleasant little touches that we enjoyed. The A/C is powerful and makes very little noise, none of that on/off all night annoyance. Room is large. Freezer, refrigerator, microwave, hotplate, lighted mirror...everything worked. The property itself is older so we weren't too sure what to expect, but the stay was pleasant and trouble-free. The room is quite large, including lots of plugs, a chaise, a spa tub. Parking is not a problem. Place was very clean and comfortable.

The property is outdated and is in need of repairs and renovation. Security cameras would be a big plus.

Ceiling fan was broken. Remote for TV seemed to be non-functional. Doorknob was in poor condition and internal door lock has a flashing light. Toilet is loose.

Nice spa tub. Easy to get in the room. Well cleaned. Comfortable bed. Good amenities.

We could not get the remote to work for the TV. the staff came in several times to correct the problem.

The room was nice and clean one we were assigned another room. The room we were assigned to was not clean, they corrected the problem with in a few minutes.

Many things needed to be replaced like light bulbs,replaced old parts and the t.v remote didn't work at all, couldn't watch TV ☹️
