Loved the nautical design touches, like cubby holes by the bedside that could hold your book, a phone and a glass of water and looked like something you would find on a boat.

Breakfast wasn't impressive (but included!) but Chelsea Market is right there for other options. No pool or spa facilities and no bathtub - I would have loved at least one after a long international flight, but it wasn't expected.

Loved the design motif, like modernized 1930's nautica. The rooms look like rooms in a vintage yacht, complete with porthole windows. Room wasn't huge but generous by Manhattan standards. Lots of selection in the minibar, nice products in the bathroom, great shower pressure and temperature. Quiet with a super comfortable bed made for a great nights' sleep. The location is incredible - right across from Chelsea Market and the High Line.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

I loved everything about this hotel! The staff were all amazing, so friendly and helpful. The lobby and our room were so cozy and comfortable. The included continental breakfast was such a treat and a rarity in NYC. I would definitely say here again!

The room and the whole hotel are very cool, very cozy, very welcoming and just plain gorgeous. The staff is super nice. The continental breakfast in the cool bar was an unexpected treat. The Maritime is a wonderful launchpad in a historic, happening neighborhood.

The room was kind of small. Despite that, you have everything you need and you can be quite comfortable.

The maritime hotel transports you into a boat compartment the moment you cross your room door with a love to detail only seen in boutique hotels. From the furniture, to the classic wood finishes, to the window designs, you will be overtaken by the feeling of floating in a cozy boat cabin while looking at Manhattan’s skyline through the round window.

The location is so nice, safe and near to cool places. The room was very clean, they even provide you with adapter plug EU to US. The view from the room was outstanding.

There was nothing I did not like.

The staff were exceptional. The airline had lost my baggage and the hotel staff were so kind and helpful. It is in such a cool area with easy access to all the attractions.

I wish they had king beds!

I've spent an excellent week at The Maritime. After an long overnight flight and arriving at the hotel at 7am I was granted and early check in. The complimentary breakfast was a nice treat. The lobby was so cozy and the rooms were a very good size. I particularly liked the shower, great pressure! And besides being right across the street from the Chelsea Market, ir hat a great subway line on the same block! And the view from my bedroom on the 10th floor was really nice!
