The only thing that was a tiny bit disappointing was the continental breakfast. There were lots of options, including items to take along on hikes. But, none of the cereals were without an added sugar coating. Just some plain Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes, Cheerios, etc. would have been appreciated. That's it. Everything else was AMAZING!

This inn was a very pleasant surprise! We had been to Estes Park in the past and were never particularly thrilled by the available accommodations. The Maxwell Inn changed that. The best feature is that the room and grounds are impeccably CLEAN. Our room (#21) was recently renovated and everything about it was delightful - the furnishings, the bed linens, the fluffy towels, and (of course) the cleanliness. The patio areas are very nice and quite relaxing.

Staff and the location. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The location was right on the outskirts of town, so convenience without the noise! The only issue we had, which could have been a one off situation, was that the A/C cycling on and off every couple of minutes. We finally figured out (last night) that there was an error on the filter. We assume that was what made it so noisy and cycle so much. We never reported it because we thought that was normal but frustrating. I would bet it will be fixed soon. Other than that, it was a good experience!

Nothing really. Sort of wish there was separate door to potty area so that one person could take a shower and be in that portion while the other was getting ready. But that is just minor. Missed having a hair dryer in the room as I forgot to bring one.

Room was extremely clean and well taken care of. Nice and roomy too. Loved being able to park right at the front door. Convenient and quiet location. Loved having the microwave and fridge too.

The feel was perfect 1950s family road trip. However, all of the amenities were updated, and the room was impeccable. Additionally, the family who runs the inn, was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
