To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaRenovations were going on at the time which we did not know about until we arrived so some facilities closed. The lobby was freezing! One needed over coats to just stand in line at the reception desk or order from the self serve cafeteria, which was not my fave place.
Location was great near Union Square, shopping, theatres, Modern Art gallery, lots of restaurants etc. The staff were very helpful, particularly the valet parking, luggage and concierge. Nostalgic and a fabulous view from our room plus super elevator ride in the new tower.

We had the best check in experience with Fazal. There’s a guy who’s going places. Promote him ! Great room, loved the elevator, comfortable bed. All the staff were terrific.

IndiaThe bill was confusing after our stay from Westin. There were terms that were unclear and I wasn't sure what I was charged for. After dropping them emails and reading up about Marriot bills, I figured this is the case for all Marriot hotels. I wasn't charged anything different from what I was promised but the terms in the receipt were confusing. For a three day stay I was charged parking pf $75 everyday which I thought was ridiculous! Please know that San Francisco hotels charge something called a "Destination fee". This is a good to know information before you book hotels here. Surprisingly hotels in Vegas don't charge this but SFO does!
It was a great hotel location wise especially in the holiday season.

Overall, I was happy with the facility, the lighting was a bit dim, and most floors were carpet which I felt needed a refresher. The property is in an area surrounded by several homeless people which at times felt a bit unsafe. There would also be bouts of loud music around the property in the middle of the night which would disrupt my sleep for a few minutes. Otherwise, it was an okay stay!

The first lady I spoke to said I wasn't charged twice but when I showed her my credit card statement she got her manager and then something was actually done about it. Added some stress to my stay.
