The first room: TV wasn't wrkg & weird odor, the staff promptly gave us option to move to another room, the 2nd room TV worked great, a bit cleaner too, appreciated the larger freezer part of the mini fridge combo was very convenient and had a nice balcony over looking the pool (Rm 227). Even tho nearby airport, we didn't hear the airplanes like we did in the previous room. We were definitely satisfied after the room change. *Dropped a suggestion to provide larger room trashcans in the rooms, especially if housekeeping is not done daily.

The Staff were Great: friendly, courteous, helpful (Erika & Miwa). Spoke to Ricardo on phone few times, he helped assign room prior to our arrival. They were prompt for our requests (towels, assistance w/TV, room change, etc). Understood situation: Everyone was clear/transparent to let us know low on staff during certain hours for front desk, low on housekeeping staff & provided info re: about the area & restaurant attached, hotel guests get 10% discount. The freezer/fridge combo was spacious for mini size, able to store more in freezer section. Liked having a good working ice machine & washer/dryer on the premises, used both during our stay.

No maid service, but towels available at front desk. No lotion Parking in front of your room impossible since people did not respect the spaces that were obviously directly in front of the first floor rooms that had those parking spaces (for elderly and disabled that were not severely handicapped). “Continental breakfast “ - coffee, granola bar, some fruit

Property is very old. Tho they have updated the flooring. But theirs a very strong smell inside the room. Might be from the glue from the vinyl flooring. Bathroom is very outdated smell old everywhere. Windows need sealing moisture inside and black molds build up. Not safe.

Room spacious. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but this wasn’t anything terrible

The room was a really good size, plenty of room for cases. The bed was super comfortable and was a highlight for us! The room had a good sized fridge, everything worked well. This is a typical motel, we didn’t use the pool but it was nice to see. There are plenty of food places and shops up the road, there is also a restaurant right next to the motel. We would stay again.

There are airplanes that fly over occasionally. It did not bother our family but families with napping babies may find this an issue.

Parking was right outside the suite door. Very quiet while only a 5 minute drive to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we would return based on the customer service alone.

There was a constant, dripping leak from the ceiling in our room. We reported the leak when we checked out.

The location was excellent, and the bed was comfortable.

The phone in our room barely worked. We had to hold the cord in place just right to get a dial tone. We requested a plunger to unclog the toilet (they never came, so we went to the front desk). The lock to the door was screwed on. However, it was broken and not very secure. The sliding glass door was very hard to open. Overall, the facilities are worn down and in need of updating.

I liked the closeness to the things we were visiting. And how quiet it was. The free coffee as well. The pool was open a day early

The bed. Sorry but I need an orthopaedic mattress and a flatter pillow.

First I had an adjoining room. Was OK first night BUT if you have an inconsiderate neighbour who turns the TV up and falls asleep. This is a problem. I move rooms!

Sailor service on the ground floor is almost nonexistent. Somebody was trying to hack on your Wi-Fi network so I couldn’t use it.

Room can be abit cold. However the heating works well so all's good.

Room is spacious and surprisingly comfortable. Good place to stay if u intend to explore monterey/carmel area.
