Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaFood prices were a little steep at times, but we also understand the nature of a resort experience. It seemed to take awhile to be served or acknowledged for food service by the pool area.
The atmosphere, layout, decor, and presentation of the building was very inviting of high quality. The food was delicious. The room was very nice and housekeeping was prompt and thorough. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

United States of AmericaIt’s not about hotel itself, just couple of tips: 1. This is the very north of the island. In February it was very windy and much colder than in Honolulu or west of island. If you want to stay for a short period it maybe that there won’t be any sunny and warm days. 2. Very hard traffic in this location. Narrow road and a lot of surfers make you 2 miles drive to 40 minutes. 3. No any highlights near hotel. All interesting points like viewpoints, restaurants etc - are near Honolulu or west. If you are here it’s like an escape hotel experience. 4. Choice of restaurant. There is very nice restaurant in the hotel, but if you want to dinner there book the table in advance as much as you can. I booked the table 2 months in advance and it wasn’t so much time slots.
Very clean and huge laid back hotel with stunning views and its own beaches

United Kingdomcar parking charged at $40 per night seems a bit steep. I have deducted 1 point for the irritating drilling noise. when I complained I was told it was a vacuum cleaner!
beautiful location on the far end of the North Shore. surrounded by the sea. recently renovated with really nice pool area and public rooms. Food nice. large room with a great view on the sixth floor. easy access and parking. staff all very pleasant and happy to chat. a thank you to Jeannie for being so welcoming.

AustraliaTo be honest it’s quite expensive . To get 2 rooms for a family of 4 , I had to pay USD $2000 or AUD $3000. It’s fair to say that it’s not for everyone . For credit of this side I would have expected a larger pool , or at least another pool in the main area of the hotel .
The resort is beautiful , real luxury in Oahu . Its large ! It’s 1 hour away from Waikiki which we liked and the location gives you access to the north shore and the eastern part of the island .

United States of AmericaThe last time we stayed here over 10 years ago, we had our wedding on the resort property. The hotel was grand then but now it’s even better! The updates they completed to the lobby area and the rooms are modern and even more evocative of the Hawaiian culture. New shops and restaurants make staying at the resort a pleasure. I only wish they had kept the Monkey Lunch cocktail at the Sunset Pool Bar.

United States of AmericaRestaurant had great food but so expensive. Free activity number was very less. I wish that they had more free classes like yoga, pilates etc. There was only one daily basic yoga class and all other nice classes were additional fee. Renting snorkeling gear was also expensive. 30 dollars for 2 hours. I wish that it was free after we pay so much amount for the hotel.
Room was really comfy and spacious. It has a great ocean view. One of the best sunset views I have ever seen in my life. Bay was great for swimming. We were able to get free towels and boards for beach.

United States of AmericaWhen we arrived, it was clear that our room was not turned over (it was lightly cleaned, but it needed a full clean).
Turtle Bay Resort is absolutely stunning! From the room size (which included a patio/deck with a lovely chaise) to the beaches and pools, this resort is everything you need. I highly recommend taking advantage of all the things available to your disposal while staying. 10/10!!

CanadaMy only recommendation for travellers is to bring water shoes if you plan on swimming in Turtle Bay as there are lots of sharp coral, etc. very close to the shoreline. I cut my foot on first day in and talked to several others who made the same mistake. Other than that, it's a beautiful place.
This property is absolutely stunning! Huge crashing waves on one side where the pool and restaurants are. The other side is Turtle Bay which has a beautiful beach and snorkelling as well as a beach restaurant. The food was amazing. The staff were amazing. I would highly recommend this resort.

AustraliaPrices of food and quality not outstanding for such a wonderful resort
Loved the beautiful, natural location of the resort. The rooms were gorgeous with the most amazing view in both directions. Our favourite part of the resort was the sunset bar.. we spent many hours each afternoon and evenings there. I also thoroughly enjoyed the bird watching tour available via the resort. The tour guide was incredible and we toured the resort spotting amazing migratory and native birds living on the property. Highly recommend the tour if you are interesting in natural flora/ fauna.
