We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesCard reader at back and side doors didn’t work properly, had to swipe several times to open the side door, the back door didn’t work at all! The room wasn’t cleaned properly, old microwave, feces on the bathroom floor, smoke detector was hanging on the wall, tub drain had something weird in it, etc.
Location was good, it was the south side of town near the university. It was near some nice places to eat and off the main roads.

The staff was very nice and polite very helpful young man. I can't remember his name but he was great. White man with blonde hair. The manager couldnt be reached but I'm glad he knew what he was doing. Great job.

United StatesFilth, bed sheets were covered in dog hair, human hair and pubic hair! The bed was a little thin metal frame. The tv didn't work. Front desk clerk was nice but was very dirty looking, covered in dog hair and wrinkled black T shirt. Not some one I would have greeting my guest. The room smelled bad and nothing was clean. Went to the front desk to speak to the clerk about the condition of the room and could not find anyone. I rang the buzzer and no one ever showed up. No one was there when we checked out either. We've stayed in alot of places but this one was the absolute worst.
There was Absolutely Nothing to like about this place!
