It was pretty expensive for just one night and the room is very small

Very cute old hotel that still had the vintage charm. The room was decorated beautifully

The only thing I didn't like was not getting up early enough to enjoy some coffee on their adorable front porch.

The quietness and comfort of being a small hotel. Looking forward to going back.

Great place for a historical stay

The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked, and I had issues with the TV, but I think that was my own lack of knowledge. This isn't a luxury hotel. It's nice for how old it in, but do not expect the same experience you'd get at an upscale hotel.

I loved the historic feel of the hotel and room. The larger bathroom was a nice surprise. The location was perfect. Just a half block from the main square. Close enough to walk to Whiskey Row but far enough away that noise wasn't an issue.

Please have conditioner in the room along with shampoo! Bathrobes would be a nice addition, too. The carpet and windows also really need to be redone. The carpet is clearly swept with regularity but it needs to be torn out and the windows are falling apart, making it difficult if not impossible to have them open.

The location is fantastic. You are a block away from the town center and can walk to lots of different restaurants and shops. Parking is relatively simple given the central location and the staff are so kind.

Outside steps and entry could use some refreshing. No elevator would be a problem for some guests.

Really like the history of the place. The outside is in need of some work, and the veranda was unfortunately closed during my stay. The lobby is so nice, full of character and lovinhly maintained. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed really great! The location and value for the money can't be beat!

Parking on the street was limited so we had to park across the street, and had to make sure we moved our car early in the morning so as to not get a ticket.

Quaint and charming old hotel with a lot of history.

Left my nightgown while packing. Left a message but got no response. Disappointed about that. Otherwise, great stay.

The feel. Very historic. Got a room w/bathroom attached. Very convenient and worth the little extra for us. The owner was on-site when we got there and was very delightful to chat with. He told us about some close restaurants. Dinner was very nice & breakfast was excellent.

the pillows were not nice, unmoldable to head, very firm. I always take my pillow with me but my husband who never complains said they were awful

there was a self serve coffee bar right outside the room it was nice to stay somewhere historical. It was quiet. conveniently located to the town square.

I loved the Esthetic. It was very clean and customer service at the desk and before my arrival was very approachable. Me and my bestie are young adults and we loved the place and stay there without fail when in town. It’s quiet and yet you can be near the action in down town. Historical and modern! I definitely recommend if you are very simple and love taking pictures.
