I love this place, it’s charming and homey, feels like a tiny haven in wild Venice. Walking distance to Abbot Kinney (15-20mns), the canals (5 mns), great sushi around the corner.

We had a shared bathroom of 3 rooms with 2 bathrooms but one of these was out of order which put pressure on the facilities. Stair carpet was a bit tired and stained

The walls are very thin. One can hear loud music and people talking outside from the room. They however provide you with ear plugs if you need them. Bathroom is small and water from the shower head will spray out to the floor.

Venice beach house was one of the very few hotels that included breakfast with the stay, and the breakfast was extremely good. There were a lot of healthy items such as chia pudding, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit. The interior decor is elegant and oftentimes makes one feel one has stepped back in time. Hotel is about two minutes away from the beach. Great location.

Nice little boutique hotel in historic building, full of charm, early XX century atmospphere, great location in Venice, close to the beach shopping and restaurants. Very helpfull staff. Be carefull selecting rooms as some of them have shared bathroom.

Given the location of the place parking is scarce and needs to be booked in advance though the staff advised us of this at the time of booking so we did not have any issue with this.

The historic character of the place is lovingly preserved whilst at the same time little details like an LP gramophone and designer furniture lend it a unique touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location between the beach and the Venice Beach canals is exceptional.

This place is a gem in every way. Some spaces are shared (depending on which room you choose) and it feels like a home. While that's not for everyone - it's exactly why I love it.

Just a very small remark. A/C in the room was quite cold and we could not control it.

Loved the house and the decor, the little garden just few meters away from the beach, the very friendly staff, and the great breakfast with fresh products and even French croissants. Would definitely come back!

The place is very cozy and comfy, clean, staff are helpful, location was perfect next to venice beach, the room was large and mixed of vintage and modern furniture, bathroom has all amnesties, breakfast was simple but delicious.

It’s not something that bothered me, but if you have a sensitive nose, it has a (light) particular smell, probably because it is an old house.

Loved the charm of the property, beautifully restored, and the amazing location just a step from the beach and restaurants. Bedroom was comfortable, spacious and clean. Big bathroom (we stayed in a suite with private bathroom). Delicious breakfast. Lovely staff

Toilets in room would be nice, but given the style and setting of the house this makes sense - toilets and showers were easy to access, so this wasn’t a big problem - air conditioning would be nice but the greenery is really cooling

Love love love the aesthetic and the location. A small stroll to the Venice boardwalk and the beach, and 15 minute walk to the skate park and shops & 30 minutes to Santa Monica.

There was some noise from outside and other rooms but it didn't bother us. We also got some laundry done through the hotel and it came back smelling bad - might have been a one off.

Rooms were lovely, light and airy throughout the hotel. Location was great, one block from the seafront, gardens and feeling of the hotel was relaxed and clean.
