The room windows wouldn't open for security/insurance purposes. I didn't book a balcony as we wouldn't have used it, but nevertheless I still expect to be able to open the window for some fresh air, or at least in the bathroom, especially when you have a bedroom and bathroom in one ambiance and without a fan.

The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the action of South Beach. The hotel hall is beautiful. The staff were nice and friendly, with a special mention to Laura from the front dest who was very friendly, helpful, and genuinely chatty. Barbara was also very nice and friendly and sent us a bottle of Cava when she found out it was a birthday trip. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom products they provided were of great quality. They provide you with towels/chairs for the beach and have a 1h free bicycle rental.

Great location, made very welcome despite early arrival. Staff assisted us with luggage and use of facilities and did their best to arrange room. Nice pool area.

It was getting a little tired around the edges in some areas.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and lovely brunch and dinner in their restaurant. Great to have free bike use and the pool was fantastic.

During spring break streets are locked by the police and getting in and out with a car is troublesome. Compared to other similar venues we have stayed recently, this one is a bit overpriced.

It was Spring Break and I was not advised. The area had heavy security including barricades and a curfew from 12pm -6am. The taxi could not access the street and dumped me nearby. Was not happy paying full price for cut down service

We booked a poolside terrace so we could relax as well as tour Miami. People very much encroached on the space and took chairs from our patio area without returning and not only our patio. We didn’t complain but it was annoying

Staff was arrogant. Due to spring break we were unable to get back to the hotel at night efter visiting Key West because of the partys on Miami Beach that affected traffic in/out from Miami Beach due to the police. Staff who helped to book taxi in the morning from Miami Beach should have informed that it would be impossible to get back to Miami Beach during night because of the partys. We now ended up in booking a new very expensive night in Miami because of this and pay for the already very expensive night out on Miami Beach that we where unable to use because it was impossible to get out there! Hotel felt dirty, both in the room and corrridors. Both the bed and the carpet and curtains were dirty. The bathroom was not in good condition.

Just a few practical details in the room such as the power socket being unusable because it was situated behind a sliding door, very limited wardrobe space and clothes hangers, only one hook in the bathroom to hang towels and robes, and no waste bin in the bedroom, Maintenance - wise the faucet to switch between spray head and bath was seized and had to be forced, the same applied to the switch that changed the water flow from Main shower to hand shower,.

Really friendly and helpful staff and a good location in the heart of Ocean Drive. The pool area is also very nice with more hours of sun than we expected given that it is situated between buildings on 3 sides. The room was nice and comfortable with a good bathroom and set of consumables. Good TV and coffee maker facilities.

Charged $300 after checkout for apparently smoking in the room, despite being non smokers . Stayed two nights and should only had had a security deposit for $200 ($100 per night) Coffee make leaked and was not fixed

The King Suite we stayed in was a nice suite but could do with refresh. And the only thing that was missing was a hand towel in the toilet area.
