Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room wasn’t the cleanest. Lots of dust and a few pieces of hair in the shower. The carpet needs to be shampooed. This place just needs more housekeeper that pay more attention to detail. Also we had a man peep through the window on check day at 9:30a to ask us if we were checking out today. Maybe just knock next time.
Ms Penny at the front desk was phenomenal. Very helpful and informative. The location of the hotel is perfect walking distance to the beach.

There was too much light coming into the room around the curtains all night, and a lot of noise early morning because we were next to the maid's supply room. Our TV remote didn't work on the tv, and when maintenance came he gave us a remote that worked, but we had to get up and point it down at a box on the floor against the wall, because they wouldn't buy enough wire to install the cable box on the dresser in sightline of the remote. Our tub did not drain properly. Large black flakes washed up out of the drain when we showered.
The location was the reason for our stay, as we were competing in a tournament at Peabody's, which is nearly across the street.

The location was horrible with bars and loud music pounding all night and into the early morning hours. Apparently there are no noise ordinances that anyone is willing to enforce.

Rooms are dated and not very clean
Most affordable property near the oceanfront. Comes with parking included. Showers have hot water

Website clearly states checkout between 11 AND 11:30! I left room at 11:20. Between 11:05 and 11:20 the front desk didn't stop calling and staff didn't stop knocking. Chill out guys. Nobody likes being rushed out early.

We didn't get clean towels delivered to the room on the weekend, which we were told "they don't do that." I needed the sheets changed as they wouldn't come in to do that. The carpet was dirty by day 4 out of 8, and I couldn't get my room cleaned even when purring the maid service tag out. I know places are short staffed but at least politely let me know and I'll do it. The shower had hair in it again, which I cleaned and also wiped everything before leaving.
Some of the staff was fantastic like last year! You get what you pay for, though. The hotel isn't too far from the beach. No roaches, no bugs, and pool cleaned daily.

Faster working elevator. The sink in room 307 had really high water pressure which was bad cause you would be soaked after brushing your teeth.
It was quite. Close to the beach. Great price.

Sadly the house keepers only changed trash and towels daily but don’t make beds or clean the bathroom, impossible to not pour sand to the bathtub after coming from the beach but the housekeeper doesn’t clean the rooms at all.
Nice and very friendly staff. Fast and easy check inn. The location is amazingly close to the beach and restaurants, safe location very family friendly, no need to drive. Fair for the price.

the property is very old. the bathroom was so small you couldn’t close the door without hitting the toilet. Bathtub was not very clean
it was near the beach so we could just walk . The beds were comfortable I slept very good

Rooms were behind on up keep . Housekeeping need better focus On cleaning. Mirror was dirty when checked in . Bathroom clean and towels good clean. Need plastic shower curtain linner,, was missing Water gets on floor because of it.
