The water can be a problem but we learned to cope with it. It can take a long time to get the hot water.

The location is beautiful. The breakfast was good and the person who gave it out was very pleasant. Everyone we encountered was very nice.

Nothing, not to like!

Great hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. Good location with ocean view rooms. Very clean, Good beds, bath, heating and AC. Nice, friendly staff. Good breakfast on a terrace with a sunrise view. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.

The room was large, and the view was great. The staff was friendly, considerate, and helpful. The attention to detail, especially for the breakfast and outdoor patio seating, made it delightful to sit and eat outside with a beautiful view. There were many choices on the breakfast menu, more than any other lodging I have stayed at. Accommodation was made for our service dog, also.

There wasn't anything that we did not like.

The was nice for the most part. There were a few big houses going up across the street that kind of ruined it. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious which was a surprise. Just right to start the day. The Vista is located so that it is easy to get everywhere you would want to go yet still away from the crowds. The beach is very pretty and within walking distance but has a lot of parking if you want to have your vehicle close by.

Breakfast is sort of a joke given the price for the room. Hardboiled eggs, yogurt and sweet bread, given out at a takeout window in a cold outdoor location. Maybe they do better in the summer. We took our meager breakfast back to our room to eat.

The room had a lovely view and also cooking facilities and a table and chairs. So we could eat our supper in the room. And the hotel is near two grocery stores which was useful. Good Harbor beach is close and was lovely for a sunset walk.

The only downfall (and it’s the norm anymore) is while I understand not smoking in the rooms, I wish there were more areas outside to smoke.

Good location, very nice room. We got in later than planned and were looking for a restaurant that would be open. Laura, the owner, checked online and couldn’t find anything open. She made us a pot of coffee and gave us some snacks. Very sweet lady with a very nice place.

It was wonderful but the pool was closed. It was warm weather so we wished it was still open. Otherwise it was perfect.

Our view was incredible!! We were on the 2nd floor with a full view of Good Harbor beach. I have included a picture from our balcony.

I thought it would be a little closer to downtown, but we walked one way and took an Uber back at night.

Location fabulous could hear the ocean and walk to it. We walked or used on demand bus system, CATA, to go everywhere.

Awesome view, excellent breakfast and wonderful staff. The room was excellent, The Vista provided awesome accommodations. I stayed at the Vista many years ago, but now it offers even better accommodations than before.

The sheets were just a tad scratchy/grabby but we survived, lol!

The location was central to our needs. My husband & I went to the Edward Hopper exhibition at the Cape Ann Museum. The view from room 22 was amazing! The room and grounds were immaculate. Offerings at free continental breakfast were extensive. Staff were friendly & attentive. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.
