Room 108 was really nice but the only place to sit was on the bed or the high top chairs which were uncomfortable.

Unique decor in the room and lots of space. Kitchen area had glasses and mugs and eating utensils. Gorgeous landscaping but in a natural way. Location was really close to volcano National park. Easy checkin and good communication .

Narrow stairs to get to the room and stairs inside the room (to get to the bathroom) were the biggest negatives. Maybe we brought too much luggage! Also, I missed having an on-site host who could provide guidance about the area. The area is fascinating. A bit of local knowledge helps to find sites that would otherwise be missed.

Beautiful grounds and a large room with a funky, fun-inspiring bathroom. The bath looked a bit like a lave tube but was still very functional. Sufficient parking. Wonderfully close to Volcanoes National Park main entrance. Food trucks in the area provided good takeaway dinners.

Fridge was very small and the “dinning corner” is 2 bar stools with a counter.

Very fun place to stay. No staff - you check in yourself. You can restock on your own for amenities. The bedroom and bathroom were on the small size, but the “lobby”/dinning corner of the room when you get in is big and you can leave all of your suitcase there. Interesting design with the koi pond. Considering that there is much more to see in Volcano than you can fit in a day, we loved this option to stay in town and be able to have a reliable, comfortable and central base at night.

The room was exceptional ! It was large and with a lot of space. Very appreciable. Located just next to the Volcano Park, it's a great place to stay for a road trip. Despite there was no staff, the check_in/check out was easy and everything went fine.

Only issue we had was the floor. We were asked to remove shoes prior to entry but the floor was dirty. Hadn’t been swept or mopped up. Debris on feet immediately. Had to wear socks.

Quiet and comfortable. Close to volcano national park.

Not enough self catering equipment to be able to cook a meal for ourselves. No dinner plates for a take out. Shower heads need cleaning to allow for a downward spray instead of the sideways spray. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Unmanned property didn’t see anyone else during our stay,

I didn’t like that my shower floor or the glass door were not cleaned properly or probably not at all, which was surprising because the rest of the room and bathroom was clean. Evidence left in the shower by the previous renters was enough for us to feel disgusted.

I absolutely loved the, room, the property and the location.
