the billing.... I was overcharged 4x's for valet parking. I'm still waiting to be reimbursed. The standard hold is still pending on my account over a week and counting after my visit. I am definitely not happy about that.

The front desk were all business. Professional, but not friendly. The bed and pillows were way too soft and the duvet was heavy and scratchy.

Friendly bartenders and bell desk. The courtyard was a nice getaway location for drinks and coffee.

I poked my head behind the fridge/bar area in my room (there was a noticeable gap) and there was a lot of rubbish, beads, cups etc.. besides this, the room was quite clean.

The beds were comfy and rooms pretty clean. Location was so good, around 3-4min walk to Bourbon Street but the rooms were nice and quiet. There were so many cool little bars around us (pretty sure i developed a drinking problem here). Speaking of bars, big shout out to Kevin S behind the hotel bar, he gave us such great advice for what to do in New Orleans. The staff were really nice here.

Hotel is overpriced for what you get. Was not impressed, have had better Westin stays elsewhere. Hotel tries too hard and overshot the price point for what they actually offer. Everything but the Desani water has a cost. Won’t book here again.

Bed was like a giant futon and bathroom offered little privacy.

Huge cockroaches in the very very dark bedrooms, that are in massive need of an update and redecorate. Left an hour after checking in. Very disappointed as usually love W Hotels.

The bathroom door was almost fully translucent, forcing us to send each other out of the room when the other was using the restroom in order to get some privacy. Kind of ridiculous.

It was poorly clean specially the bathroom. I had to request for clean pillow cases and new sheets. They need to substitute their sheets. There are spots that may not come off anymore.. the mirrors were poorly clean and the bathroom floors were slippery. I like cleanliness. I'm thankful that the 2nd time I asked for bed sheets they were immediately brought up to me. Overall cleanliness is not their forte.

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating . The hotel is very well located in the heart of the French quarter and I felt very safe and there was no noise to speak of.

The bathroom in the Wonderful room is not particularly private. Being married,it wasn't a huge issue for us, but for new couples or friends I would just caution it.

The outdoor space was amazing and underutilized by most guests which left it open for use without feeling intruded upon. Rooms are small, as expected, but not lacking a single amenity.

The rooms don't have reading lights by the bed so you literally have to use a cell phone if your partner wants to sleep. They gave free wifi only if you joined their "club" and registered with club online, then got a password which lead to more questions. We never got it. Room wasn't cleaned until after 5. Our room looked at a wall but we didn't really mind because it was quiet.

Location was fabulous and the courtyard is a lovely spot to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. Beds/pillows were insanely comfortable. Nice having an attractive bar next door. Love the bliss products in the bathroom.

My room was clean, however it could've been cleaner. There was a plate of half eaten food outside my door for 2 days and the hall way was not vacuum for 2 nights.

The courtyard is an oasis in the middle of the city, definitely the favorite part of my hotel.

The hotel had a lot of mold around the windows and we needed to explain to the housekeeper that the duvet needed a comforter to go inside.. She was very nice but brought us an additional duvet.. with no comforter! Took 3 days to get it right. The rooms are way smaller that we thought and the bathroom has a huge emblem over the sink so it was very difficult to see ourselves while getting ready in the morn/night and washing up!

    The staff was super friendly.

They overbooked the hotel and had to place us in another room. The new room only had one bed to accommodate 4 people. It was a miserable and uncomfortable night. They agreed to refund that night but I have still not gotten anything back. It was defiantly a sour note on our trip.

The pool was broken. The AC didn't blow enough cold air and the room as a result wasn't cold. The staff didn't seem to care about it. There was also no completely free breakfast nor a place to wash laundry.

The pool wasn't working and was closed due to a green color to the water. Also they did not come to clean the room one of the days we were there which forced us to have to ask for towels. Also the AC wasn't cold due to it barley blowing and the staff did nothing to fix it it seems despite complaints every day of the stay. There's was also no place to wash laundry nor completely breakfast. Overall we were disappointed in the W and it's staff.

I was charged for valet and room service when I didn't use either. This added an extra hundred on the bill. I had to beg them to clean the room. Rest assured though, they will come by a couple of times in the morning and afternoon to ask if you want your mini bar restocked. When the room was finally cleaned, my feminine products, toothpaste, drinks, and food were gone.

The location and price are great! The room is very trendy and comfortable.

Employees lack of communication of damage that happen to my jeep.

The stay was great, until we were about to leave and I found a coil sitting in my cup holder. I asked the parking attendant what it was and he said it was my antenna. The only problem is it was damaged it was missing the whole outer black sleeve. When we looked at the top of the car you could see black pieces on top of the roof where it had just been broke. It was just a metal coil. Still waiting to hear back from loss prevention. The damage was done at the hotel while in the parking garage and then tenants in the parking garage never told us about us the problem. They just left it in the cup holder. We paid over a $100 to park it for 2 days.I am not mad it happen just upset no one told us about the damage and just left in the car.

The bed mattress in rm 429 was so full of urine (still wet) that it soaked through the sheets. After pulling all sheets off the bed I uncovered the very soiled mattress they tried to cover up. The whole room smelled of strong urine/ammonia and we had to be moved to 335 which was away from our group of friends.
