We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesWe were surprised at how small the bathroom sink was (almost no counter space, and no soap for the room). Housekeeping service was limited (to save energy and to save money, I'm sure), so our room was only tidied once during our four night stay. This wasn't necessarily an issue, and we COULD have called the front desk to request it daily, but it did feel silly to make the guests have to ask for housekeeping for the price of the stay. It was also outrageously inconvenient that wifi was only available if you paid for it.
The staff were exceptional. Check-in and check-out were easy. The courtyard is beautiful. Location is incredible - you're in the heart of the french quarter and everything a tourist could want to see is just steps away!

I used to live in NOLA and this hotel was lovely. Not great, not earthshattering, but more than fine. The room was huge, the bed was comfortable and it was all very clean with no smell. The service was pleasant. I would stay here again. Personal preference, but I prefer a more historic setting.

United StatesWe told them it was our 35th wedding anniversary and our first time in New Orleans. It would have been nice if they had acknowledged that in some way, like a room upgrade, bottle of champagne, etc. Also, we had to ask more than halfway through our stay for our room to be freshened up.
The room was modern and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. We never heard other guests. The location in the French Quarter was perfect for walking everywhere.

United StatesThe TV was out the entire night and day of our one night stay, due to the company upgrading the system. The breakfast was not great. The grits were hard and lumpy, the toast was hard and smoke sausage instead of breakfast sausage was served. I was glade it was included with my room. Otherwise this would've really been a even bigger disappointment. Our room came with a wet bar. The refrigerator was fully stocked, but there wasn't any space to put personal drinks or leftover food from eating out. Windows are not noise(double pan) proof. You hear all the street noise. Also the stairs door outside our room could use a door spring that prevents it from slamming shut (very loudly) each time anyone uses it

United StatesFront desk staff were generally unhelpful and didn’t seem to be well suited for their industry. The hot water in one of the rooms literally took 2 to 3 minutes to warm up and the faucets weren’t particularly clear so we thought that we had no hot water. We alerted the front desk twice and they had it checked out but followed up with instructions. When I called down for the third time they didn’t answer, I left the phone ringing and went down to find the front desk guy ignoring the phone. New Orleans has a lot of hot and cold hospitality workers, but hotels should hold their employees to account! I’m available if you want video of the front desk guy ignoring the phone. The same guy told me that the city provided both the hot and cold water and had turned them both off earlier that day. The maintenance guy who helped us in the end and the housekeeping crew were always very attentive.
The king room had a balcony that overlooked the pool. The two queen rooms were connected. A/C was solid. Pool was small but nice and not overcrowded. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

AustraliaThe staff in general . Generally the reception staff were pretty hopeless except the new staff member that book is in . Two reasons for this. I thought I had booked for four nights and not three nights. We did not check out and when we returned our key was barred. Our luggage was still in the room at 3 pm that day.. nobody contacted us to enquire why our luggage had not been removed. If the new people had arrived for the same room, what would’ve happened it would’ve been a nightmare. Luckily, we chose to come back to the hotel by 3 pm so we were able to get another room and move our time to the room to be set up for the next people . My question is why did the hotel not contact us to enquire why we had not removed our luggage and it could’ve been sorted early in the day. If we were still out what would’ve happened why did management not fix this in the morning? Secondly, the parcel was delivered and no one called us to say that the parcel had arrived and we left the hotel and returned to our country of origin. We are still trying to chase up this parcel. You can ring Reception five times and they don’t answer the phone. You have to ring the booking people. Customer Service is really poor and management needs to be addressed.
