First, we were given keys to an already occupied room. The hotel was under a major remodel. At least half of the parking spots were taken by construction materials. There were no handicapped spots available at all. There is no elevator at this location. The “closet” area didn’t have a suitcase stand or a bar to hang clothes.

The breakfast was great! Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, various breads, fruits, juice, milk and coffee. The area was very clean. The food was well stocked. The pool was nice. It was warmer than most hotels. Pool area was very clean. Towels were not stocked but after asking at the front desk, a few towels were brought down.

It’s as bare bones and basic as it gets. I was astounded that there was not a coffee maker in the room. The towels are paper thin. The shower clogged. The carpet seemed really old and not clean. Bed sank into the middle, mattress was not comfortable. And although it’s a non smoking hotel I never walked through the hallways without the very powerful smell of marijuana. Breakfast hours were limited. Driveway is difficult to pull out of due to the poor visibility. Don’t go to the nearby Denny’s or Oliver’s restaurants if you’re in a hurry.

It was surprisingly quiet. And I say that because it’s located next to the interstate and when we checked in there were several guests with loud diesel trucks parking in the lot and I assumed we were in for an uncomfortable, loud stay but I never heard any parking lot noise or hallway noise, which is common in a lot of even nicer hotels. The doors are soft close and I really appreciated not having to hear neighbors doors slamming. The housekeeping staff were all very nice and also quiet.

There was a dog barking nonstop across the hall from us, and the bathtub didn’t drain well while showering. In general, the property could use some slight updating on little things like toilet paper holder, door handles, shower head, etc.

The cost was the main reason why we chose this hotel.

The stairs are weird. I don't like being on the second floor bcuz I'm a smoker. I think some rooms should be smoking rooms.

Floors were unclean, soda machine took only coins not dollar bills, fridge was too small to hold stuff, Tiny bathroom contained only the tub and toilet jammed against each other and had to go into bedroom to wash hands and brush teeth, and only one tiny trash can in a room with two queens. With only a few cars in the lot, like only four other guests in the entire place, could still hear voices thru the walls all night.

The chain on our door was broken. The refrigerator made a noise. Our key card did not work well and had to be reprogrammed.
