To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaMy family member and I had an event to go to that lasted late into the night, it would've been helpful to see if the dining options (inside the hotel) were minimal(having light meals) instead of opting to do delivery. For the price I paid-as well as being a first time bonvoy member and first time guest-i would've liked the wifi and meal options to be a little more accommodating. It was a little disappointing to know that it was only for elite members and up.
I did appreciate the hospitality of the staff. Since this was my first time at a hotel like this, it was really appreciative to know that I can ask questions. The Cafe options were very delectable as well. As a female traveler, it was very comforting to know that even the elevators were key card accessible only.

United States of AmericaCheck in process was a hassle and the people answering the phone are extremely unhelpful/unfriendly. Parking was an extremely annoying with valet taking over 10-15 mins to get the car back even after paying $70 a night for that. On top of it, the valet parking staff (which appear understaffed for the capacity) also need to communicate better. Always a rush at the entrance and valet parking issue would be a reason I don't come back.
The location was convenient, the room was comfortable and clean, amenities were good. Tanya at the front desk was great!

United States of AmericaThe double beds are a little small for two people, so be ready to cuddle close. I think the double room with double beds for 4 people is a little tight and the furniture was a little used.
It was pretty clean. Liked the bathroom and its size, the lobby is impressive, daily cleaning service was great. Also the view outside was nice and the location was very convenient.

United States of AmericaThis was my second time staying in this hotel and there were problems with the A/C on both occasions. We couldn't get cool enough to sleep. I dislike the cloth headboards and wish they would replace those. I also wish they would make wi-fi free for all paying guests, not just those who book directly on their site.
I love that the property was very clean and staff members were accomodating. There's a starbucks on site and a bar with decent hours. Breakfast was great and the area is very walkabale.

United States of AmericaNobody explained the daily $25 destination charge, not the agent who checked us in, not the Concierge staff, and not the Booking.com site. I thought it was like a local luxury tariff — until it was too late to use. Shame on Marriott — and maybe on Booking.com! Our room was a little wanting considering the price. The refrigerator was useless — it could only stay on for 2 hrs at a time and then needed to be restarted. That meant we had to get lots of ice and turn it into an ice chest to store medication that needed refrigeration!! Pretty useless system! Next, though it didn’t hurt our stay in the least, the headboard was actually peeling. Creepy!
