Weather didn’t cooperate. One day it rained all day. Since we only had three nights, that was disappointing.

need to book beach chairs well in advance and pricey, but you can get same day setups starting at 9 am in the third row. it is a strange complaint, but the pools in the beach club and camp watercolor are too warm and the water was barely refreshing on a hot summer day. we opted to stay cooler in the ocean.

The brand new pool just opened while we were there and it is wonderful and served by great pool staff with delicious menu. truly all the staff were very kind and helpful. it seems that the renovations for the new suites are wrapping up and there was no inconvenience from this.

no beachside service of food or beverage, no towels at Camp WaterColor

this was our first visit to WaterColor Inn. The location is absolutely beautiful! It actually had the vibe of an island resort. Loved FOOW restaurant. My teenage boys loved the complimentary bikes. Staff were pleasant and helpful but several were not very knowledgeable. Beach setups I thought were overpriced particularly when they do not provide beachside service of food or beverage. At Camp WaterColor (where the lazy river and waterslide are), they do not provide towels which I thought was insane! We opted to walk there from the inn which was about one mile away, so we had to buy beach towels there. You have to bring your beach towels over from the inn. There is construction going on which caused some traffic congestion near the entrance. LOTS of golf carts which is definitely the best way to get around the property, but frustrating for car drivers (golf carts blocking the road around the entrance). We will definitely get a golf cart next time. Overall we enjoyed it and will go back.

2nd floor room has no view of the beaches as they are below the sand dune. I would suggest booking the 3rd or 4th floor rooms if a view of the beach is expected. Beach chairs and umbrellas are not included with the rooms so be prepared to pay and get there early as they go quickly..

The Inn is beautiful! The staff is 100% focused on making your stay at Watercolor Inn one to remember! Food at FOOW is excellent and pool service is prompt.. easy access to the beaches with reserved area for guest.

The room was pricey for that time of year. The bikes had handle problems. The light switches in the rooms were confusing. The only DVD player was in the living room which we had to hook up ourselves. The couches were too big and soft for our liking, our legs and lower backs were not supported unless you scrunched way back into the couches. the room was on the first floor so we didn't feel we had privacy and kept the window shades on the street, back maser bedroom closed all the time.

Liked the proximity to the Wine Festival and shops. Liked the staff who waited on us "hand and foot" especially Cecilia. The room was clean, airy, and bright. The shower stall was amazing. The shampoo, conditioners and body cream provided were a pleasant touch. Didn't use the coupon provided for the nearby shops but did rent some "free" DVD's. Dined at The Pescado and Paradis restaurants, liking the Paradis over the Pescado even though the view from the Pescado was very memorable watching the sunset occur during dinner.

All the construction. Waiting area for the restaurant was hot and not enough lobby seating while waiting to check in. We appreciated how clean they like to keep the room, but felt when we came back from beach or pool in the afternoon the room should have been ready, but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Maybe they need more staffing to get rooms cleaned by 1 to 2 pm.

Breakfast was great and enjoyed eating on the terrace. Too much construction and really we were not prepared for how much. Wish they could have completed it in the winter months. We should have had a reduction on our bill due to it.

under construction, staff was off season at front desk so no clue of things to do or providing high service. We had a room with great second floor view but also a tractor working during the day. when asked to move they said they are not able to bc of the 3 weddings coming in. So guess if your not wedding party, your out of luck.
